We had two James’s on the job. The one more senior than the other.

They came to quote (no charge) but stayed on and did the main job immediately.

James senior was absolutely outstanding: professional, communicated very well, very tidy and considerate. And "James Junior" was also great, helpful and got the tasks done.

The job was done quickly, no fuss, no mess. And a few other matters were also attended to, willingly.

All up a great experience. I would use Proximity again without hesitation.

James was very professional and explained each step. He cleared the pipes to our shared private connection service for a very reasonable fee.

Came quickly when I had a late afternoon sewer emergency. Turned out a tree root was almost entirely blocking the sewer. A team of Proximity members got it fixed quickly, all of whom were friendly and professional, despite it being a challenging site. Was very grateful for the quick resolution and would definitely use again.

Had mark the plumber do work on a leaking bath for me today, Amazing work, super friendly and clean, Highly recommended

Plumbers were pleasant, efficient and professional. Though, the administration side of company was poor and needs improvement, as I was not advised the day nor time work was to commence. It was only because i was home at the time that I discovered plumbers had arrived unannounced, without my prior knowledge.

Emily efficiently arranged my service and William sent his co-worker, Max, who introduced himself and was a very well presented, well spoken, polite, uniformed and professional plumber. Max was highly motivated and co-ordinated for a part to be delivered. Max was highly respectful of being in our home and cleaned up at the end too! He also changed a shower washer while waiting for the part. Well done Max.

I had a tap that dribbled when turned on and another leaky tap which couldn't be turned off. It was driving me insane.

On the day of my appointment, I was contacted by Proximity to advise of the expected arrival time.

Plumber James arrived and inspected the problem. He suggested multiple solutions and discussed the options including all costs. After my decision, James promptly began to fix issues. The work was completed in a timely manner. I was shown the completed works to ensure satisfaction with the job.

Excellent service, our drains were blocked and the team were excellent. First helped by William on NYE and second by Calum and Jake in the new year. Highly recommend.

Originally provided drainage work for my kitchen which caused a leak in my tap. Charged me $418 to come back and replace my tap, even though the leak was caused by their work. Asked for a break down of the cost and they had charged me $200 for a tap that retails at $90. I'm advised by my building manager that the entire building has had a similar experience.

Super expensive, don’t be fooled by their no callout fee. They’ll sting you without providing estimate for the total job cost, and massive mark ups on materials

I had a leaking tap in my kitchen plus the water was very slow coming out. I called Proximity Plumbing this morning and within half an hour Max was in the kitchen doing the repair. He identified the problem which was a very old tap and had a new one with him. It all took about an hour from when I made the call and Max was a delightful young man. I found Proximity Plumbing online and made contact. Immediately I was contacted and we discussed the job. I was passed onto the plumber that would be doing the work. Communication was excellent. The plumber arrive exactly on time and was professional and efficient. He completed the job in a timely manner and was courteous and explained all elements to the job.
