Nice to look at the art gallery. Friendly staff. $5 entry per person which I didn't mind paying to look

A really great gallery to find out all about Pro Hart - very reasonable entry fee, friendly and knowledgeable staff and wonderful art works and souvenirs go buy. There are some of his sculptures across the street too in a little park. Very pet friendly - our pup was allowed to come in with us.

Well worth a visit even if you aren't into art. Pro Hart is probably the most well known modern day Australian artist. It is amazing to see the variety of pieces on display including Pro's famous hand painted rolls royce (and others) in what once was the family home. Full history of Pro's life in the form of an informative video to view and many of his personal belongs to see as well. Some art for sale. 5 stars.

If you are into the bizarre then this might interest you. However I found it pretentious and overdone. His skills an artist are totally subjective. And I liked it even less upon learning that Hart was a rampant conspiriologist.

I will admit that i was not a fan at first and quitely reluctant to visit this museum, as it's not normally my thing to do. However, a mate I was travelling with really wanted to visit this place. So respectfully I went along with an open mind and WOW it was incredible and the curator was wonderful, giving us the short history version of this great Australian artist.
We wished we had allowed more time in Broken Hill and surrounding areas.

Highly recommend you add this to your "To do list" if you are in Broken Hill and allow yourself an hour minimum to view all of his art.

Great art work displayed as well as his painting studio, cars, sculptures and a video about the man himself.

A great display and we could even take our small dog through the gallery. Pro Hart was certainly a very talented man. Definitely worth checking out whilst in Broken Hill. Also has 4 of his Rolls Royce's parked at the front one of which he painted. A very minimal entry fee and you can even purchase some original paintings or prints but obviously they are on the very pricey side. The lady was very friendly.

Excellent museum and gallery explaining The Professor (Pro) and his artistic development and life, from mine locomotive driver to painting his own Rolls Royce. Very good vide presentation.

He was a great Australian with a huge talent. Most of his work is either a story of his life or of Australia and a number of these works are on display as well as a recreation of his studio

I was a big fan of Pro Hart as a kid. I remember the Berger carpet ad and thought who is this guy making art on the carpet with food. So I was delighted when I mentioned the ad to staff at the front desk and they offered to put it on for everyone in the gallery to watch. He commented afterwards he has never heard applause like that for screening the ad. I was tickled pink. It is fantastic they have kept his studio as it was, including the canon he used for his paint splatters.

I was equally delighted to purchase two towels of the artwork created on the Berger carpet ad…a reminder of the creativity behind the artist.

A great place to visit. The work on display is amazing and to view Pro Harts work in his own workshop is a bit of a treat. The video playing is worth watching before viewing his work as it gives some insight into what some of his works are about etc. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they even have a treasure hunt type activity for kids, who were really enjoying it. Highly recommend.

Pro Hart gallery is a must visit in Broken Hill. The gallery is welcoming and light and airy, it's so much fun. Mr Hart's painting is fun and vibrant.

A lovely, compact and personalised art gallery. The artwork is fantastic, so too the history of the the man, entwined with that of Broken Hill.

Was awestruck by how these look in real life. Amazing collection and opportunity to purchase mementos.

I had no idea he had such an eclectic background. An amazing humanitarian with principles. His art and abilities are on show for all to see. Mrs Hart is a regular visitor and loves a chat. Fully recommend.
