Know someone who worked there for a short time after being convinced it was a legitimate car buying service.
Sales meetings/training detailing how to run the scam. Call to make initial contact and tell the person making the enquiry that they will get up to a dozen "quotes" for the new car. Then the "Purchasing Officers" defer to the Sales Manager Anton, who makes up the quotes and these are then relayed back to the prospective buyer. The 1st call back to the buyer is made within 8 minutes to display urgency and the 2nd call 13 minutes later. This happens a number of times, reducing the price each time with the odd higher amount to give the appearance of propriety. The buyer is told that the dealer who provided the higher price has been told to "sharpen their pencil" or they wont get another opportunity to quote again. At the end of the process they ask for a credit card to secure the sale. Once received, they then go to their favourite local dealer and get them to reduce the price private fleet have quoted by many thousands, which becomes private fleets profit. Surprisingly not illegal, but questionable & immoral and certainly misrepresents what they say they do. Is it profitable? The owners/managers all seem to drive luxury cars, so probably. Could you do the process yourself. Sure. Tell your local dealer that you've had numerous other quotes that they had to beat. Understand that many legitimate motor dealers will not deal with them. STAY AWAY!

Made some inquiries with these people. I would suggest staying well away from them. Last call I had was from Nicholas who was very nice at first, then became very rude and hung up on me.

My wife and I had recently retired and wanted to do a changeover of vehicle. We narrowed our choices down to Subaru Ford and Mazda. We drove all the vehicles that we were interested and settled eventually on a Subaru XT. We then tried to engage with our local dealer and they were evasive at best as Subaru were going to release an new XT on the 15th Sept. They were not sure of stocks coming in and prices did not seem to move. We came away feeling fairly let down and decided to look for another dealer in Sydney as we live on the Central Coast. We came across Private Fleet and spoke with James who gave us his undivided attention and expertise. He talked through prices and delivery times and was confident for us to go through the process with him even though this was a totally new experience for us. From the moment of order to delivery which was last Friday we were informed by James' Colleagues and then Trivett Classic as to the vehicle delivery etc. The vehicle came in 3 weeks early, was detailed and very carefully driven to our home on the Central Coast. We received undivided, kind and confident service the likes of which has never really happened to us before and we would be so very happy to recommend Private Fleet to anyone seeking a car. It is not just for leasing.

Private Fleet was awesome in finding my preferred vehicle, i skipped a 10-month wait in obtaining my Isuzu MUX LST from an Isuzu Dealer very happy with my purchase. All modifications were organised prior to delivery.

Fast, friendly and efficient service from initial online query through to taking possession of the car. Once you know exactly what you want, this is definitely the way to go.

If I could do a minus 10 rating I would, I paid a deposit of $4000 for a vehicle which had a 5 month wait on delivery and under no circumstance was I made aware of the T's and C's on cancelling said order and did not sign any legal documents yet after cancelling my order due to personal financial changes they refused to refund my deposit and infact charged me extra even though the car was still months away from delivery. When asked to provide evidence of agreement to cancellation policies etc they could not provide any. Note: I did pay money for the use of the service and I did not expect to get that back.

Having spent 20 years in the motor vehicle sales I can honestly say you will never find a better company to deal with from the first contact to delivery of your new vehicle. “Painless, no stress and very enjoyable.
