Wouldnt let a little old lady into the centre to use the bathroom unless she paid! This is outrageous! Absolutely disgusting. Shame on the ridiculous staff member that did this. Let’s hope one day that’s not your mother!

Sydney is spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful public pools. This is the one i always return to for the clean facilities, central location and relaxed atmosphere.

Heated outdoor pools, very clean - pool and the changing rooms and toilet areas. Friendly staff and plenty of shaded areas. I’ve lived in the surrounding area since 2004 and have never used this pool before but was a great first experience. Will come back again with the kids when they are older - due to Covid our usual pools have been closed. Also please note all shower areas are closed off too due to Covid.

Really impressed with this pool. Firstly it was a very clean facility, wether that’s because it has just reopened after Covid lockdown or this is always the case remains to be seen but my experience was a good one. The water was relatively warm as it is a heated pool, I know sometimes they are ‘heated’ but still feel cold, this pool was a comfortable temperature. The staff were polite. There are seats available with shade.

PAP is a fantastic place to swim throughout the year, with great facilities including a heated pool and hot showers in winter. The learn to swim for adults is so beneficial for any level of swimmer whether you're a beginner or just need some work on improving your technique. Julian is a brilliant teacher, so attentive, patient and has a wealth of knowledge he generously shares with all learners. The location is central and with the sun loungers and umbrellas, it feels like your own secret haven in the middle of the city.

Clean, not overly busy, great location. Sadly staff are robotic at best, felt like I was interrupting their time.

Staff at reception are friendly and great. Good facilities. I had left my bag there after a swim session and the staff were so helpful in helping me find it. Love this place

Really disappointed after my visit to the pool today.
Upon entering we were told that there was no lounging or sun baking, which we understood.
Staff didn’t inform us of the fact that there was a ‘swim and go’ policy or that we would have to wait once we’d go in before we were allowed to get in the pool (one in one out policy) which we found quite frustrating as we assumed once we’d entered we’d be allowed straight in the pool.
Much like a few of the others who were in the pool, we were enjoying being in the leisure lane, whereby we could swim and stop when we wanted. After a short time, one of the swimming attendants came and told us that we would need to move to a swimming lane as ‘leisure swimming’ wasn’t allowed.
We were very frustrated at this point, as the pool was very quiet (with barely anyone in the leisure lane) and no one told us beforehand or explained about this policy, and we had spoken to two attendants.
Long and the short of it was that the staff were very abrasive and argumentative, and made us feel rushed and uncomfortable being there. It’s understandable that these rules need to be in place due to covid, but they need to be clearly explained prior to entry to avoid confusion. Also unclear why leisure swimming supposedly doesn’t apply to families, as surely this is the same as others leisure swimming if there’s a limit on numbers?
Basically, if you’re looking for a swim, head to Victoria pool. Way nicer, more chilled and less unfriendly staff.

Lots of dog poo from a number of dog owners not picking it up, also dogs or at least owners have Right of Way!
