Just a chepa gym, really bad customer service, the manager totally unpolite without maners, impossible talk with someone like him, the worst plus fitness branch so far, cheers

As I am no longer a member, I can now freely express the poor standard of the staffs service. Whilst the equipment and facilities were clean and sufficient, the staff were observed to make minimal effort in welcoming and acknowledging members in the gym. It was very apparent who the staff favoured as those particular members would be acknowledged/greeted/engaged in conversation with. On a number of occasions, potential customers were also seen waiting while staff were busy talking amongst themselves, which is obviously quite rude. However, in saying that, there was one particular staff member who would acknowledge and greet all members in passing - so thank you to her, however not surprisingly she is no longer working at the gym. Moving out of the NS area fortunately meant that i could cancel my membership and join another gym. It would be good if the staff were to improve their service to all members as this would match the quality of the gym facilities.

EDIT: this review has got nothing to do with my partner and any RESOLVED closure membership fees which he has taken ownership for. This review is clearly under my name and based on my opinion, so it would be greatly appreciated to just address the review that I have expressed as it is clearly a separate matter. I am more than happy to have a conversation about this over the phone, but do not include other irrelevant matters in my review.

My go to gym in the morning before work. Great size, never too crowded, good showers. And great coffee next door.

Plus Fitness North Sydney is a great local gym in a great location. It's small in size, always kept very clean, super friendly and helpful staff and has all of the equipment you need for your workout, with a aerobics room for stretching and classes.

Plus Fitness in North Sydney is the best gym that I have been to. They have all the equipment that you need as well as plenty of space for you to workout. The staff is so friendly and you always feel welcome by them and other members. The gym is like a big family its amazing!

So grateful that this is my local gym! I signed up just after I moved to North Sydney and to assist me in completing a cycling challenge in October. The staff are extremely helpful and the range of equipment is fantastic. The cleaning supplies are always readily available and its a safe space for everyone. The online classes are an added benefit. I highly recommend!

The crew at PF North Sydney are super friendly and helpful! The gym is clean and has all the equipment for a great workout!

Impossible to cancel membership.

I contacted them over a month ago to advise them I wanted to have my membership terminated due to financial stress. Instead of sending a membership termination form via email they insisted I travel to the gym to have the account closed. In the meantime they sent my unpaid fees to a debt collector and added $15 processing fee for each pay cycle. I was able to go in yesterday and complete the cancellation form and the attendant said she was unable to process it as she was not authorised. I called them this evening and they said that it cannot be cancelled. They want “two weeks notice” from the time the cancellation form was completed.

Their facilities are good but their administration processes are ridiculous. Avoid them.

Much better than the club in Bondi but not better than the Leichhardt club but there is a good amount of equipments and many of them newest comparing to the other clubs.
I like it.

It's good value, but I wish they'd turn the music down so it doesn't interfere with member's own music and they need some lockers.

I canceled my membership on the 17th of March 2020. Some days later the gym closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. So my last payment wasn't processed and I was never notified. On JUNE 18th 2020 my payment is processed without any notice. I spoke with on of the staff asking him if I can receive some support as I am struggling financially. Nothing was done and he didn't care. Currently I am not in a situation to pay the membership and also I wasn't planning to go to the gym.
They just cared about the money

Great gym. In response to a previous review: the music is indeed aggressive, but that is perfect for a gym.

Friendly staff, lots of equipment, clean. However - Awful obnoxious music at stupidly high volume that you can’t block out with headphones.

Great gym in North Sydney! Wide rage of equipment and utilities. Very clean and the staff are really friendly too.

Good choice of equipment, have not found anything that does not work as yet. Might bring my own leg/ankle attachments for the cable machines though.

Gym is very neat and tidy. Good layout and equipment is kept clean with lots of sanitary wipes around the gym just in case. Only down side is that there aren't many places for squats and deads but still a great gym nonetheless (1 good squat rack, 1 ok-ish squat rack, and 1 deadlift platform), there's still floor space to do squats but without the safety of a rack.

It has most of the equipments for a total body workout or just getting fit. Bathroom and change room are kept clean. Staff are friendly. Like all gym it get crowded before 8am and after 4: 30pm. I like to say it’s highly recommended but thus means the gym will be more crowded ;)

Love this gym. Spacious, clean and well stocked with equipment. The areas are well laid out, at the back is all the weights and yoga room, the front of the gym has the elliptical, step machines, rowing machines, treadmills, etc. For the vain, there are lots of mirrors to look at yourself in then take selfies because how will people know you went to the gym?

Has a great range of equipment. Not as busy as the other gyms in North Sydney. The free weights area is spacious, the classroom is a decent size. I love that they offer free yoga.
