A terrific gym which never gets to busy. Lady at door is very helpful. Not far from Rail Station.

Good as all the Plus fitness.
Only thing is no free parking available. Few spots in the evening by the street

Very convenient location and modern equipment, looks like it has been recently renovated. The staff members do a great job with the cleaning of the facilities, it is way cleaner than other Fitness Plus locations. It can get a bit busy between 5 and 6pm but they have enough stations that you can get your workout done without any wait times.

PS: I was very impressed with the customer service! One employee made a mistake with my membership but the management apologised for it straightway (not very common for companies these days) and fixed the error. Excellent handling of the situation!

I don't normally write reviews but the North Sydney Plus Fitness definitely deserves one! I have been to other Plus Fitness locations (and other gyms) and this has to be the best gym I have ever been to!

It's so clean, the staff are very friendly, PTs will help you (even if they're already with their own customer) and gym goers actually re-rack their weights and clean their equipment/machines. Even during peak hours (after 5pm on weekdays), I find that it's still not as busy compared to other gyms (which is surprising as this branch is very close to many work locations in North Sydney)

The bathroom and showers are very well maintained and regularly cleaned as well. Lots of squat racks, benches and all the machines that you will need. Good range of cardio machines as well. Very convenient to go to if you work in the area and it's right next to the North Sydney train station.

Easy to join, clean, excellent equipment for a good workout. I’m moving to a building that has a gym in it so I’ve simply went in this morning (after checking the staffed hours) to cancel my membership. And in 5 minutes I was out the door! Couldn’t have been more efficient. Thanks PF. I’ll be back for sure!

Really easy to sign up, but very difficult to cancel. For “security reasons” this can only be done in person at the branch you sign up at. Furthermore if your debits are settled and your account is on pause, you will be charged an extra debit cycle from the date of cancellation even if you are unable to use the gym.

Otherwise Floor staff are generally nice.the equipment is fine

Hard to Cancel - although they claimed I could cancel ‘at any time’, after I moved interstate (I had to show them ‘proof’) they continued to bill my credit card for several more months. I have no issue paying for a service that I use, but if you take someone’s money without providing a service, it is called theft, regardless of clever trickery in your T & C. Was losing a potential life time customer worth stealing a few hundred dollars?

Really good gym, however, It can get very hot, especially coming into summer and the distinct scent machine is refreshing however can get over the top with the amount it sprays.

Friendly and professional staff. Gym is always kept super clean with a good mix of equipment.

Great gym, good facilities and good prices too. The personal trainer Matthew is really nice as well and a great guy to have there.

Plus Fitness gyms are all really good: Well maintained, good facilities, spot on temperature regulation and all the equipment you would need. As a big squatter, my only complaint is the squat racks. They are a awkward as the safety pins are hard to adjust, and the barbells are the ones with only one grip reference. Otherwise there is no other reason to complain. Does the job and can suit any gym goals.:)

Great Gym, very clean and has all the equipment needed. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership due to work and they couldn't have been more helpful, Sarah was fantastic to deal with and made the process very easy.

Unprofessional not trained well staff not giving full information when signed up about cancellation rules, have to physically come in the singed up store for membership cancellation, no lock in and no longhouse fee is only for marketing. Phone is always busy, when staff answering calls not even willing to give an email address. Not happy with this gym and experience, staff, service at all!

As with below uses, I've tried to cancel since November and they just offer time holds saying must come into the gym. Unreasonable with the response and zero help in any other way except come into gym. I was up in qld over xmas, stuck in hunter with covid and in this pandemic so unreasonable to not offer cancelation over phone. DO NOT SIGN UP

Average gym, just convenient location. They don’t have a virtual sign up/out system, they use paper forms. When canceling my membership during pandemic via email for fair reasons (left the country), they kept charging the fees for 2 months more. Despite giving proof of my absence, they refused to refund the fees. I cannot support that unprecedented way of taking advantage of the situation and the members.

It's ridiculous that members cannot cancel thier membership online even during a pandemic. Neither I was allowed to go to the nearest plus fitness gym and cancel my membership. I just was made to fill forms multiple times to hold my cancellation.

Had been a loyal patron of plus fitness for 10+ years. This was by far the worst one I'd been to. Equipment was scarce, and always overcrowded. When I tried to cancel my membership at this branch - I was unable to do so in person. After trying multiple times, and without notice, they forwarded on my $50 "owings" to debt collectors who aggressively pursued me for much more.
