I have used Marcio and the team at Platinum for 7 moves over the past 7 years. Every time they have been extremely professional and his moving teams are always friendly, courteous and happy to assist in any way.

Highly recommended.

Smiling all the way, I have never came across such friendly and caring movers before. It is always in my mind the idea of a stressful day ahead, I found it to be quite the opposite the experience we had with Platinum Removals removalists. Alex and Sascha were very professional, arrived in a very presentable truck, very well organised, lots of moving blankets, bubble wrap, trolleys. They had smart, complete uniforms and a most importantly a clear indication that they really knew what they were doing, mapping and planning the entire house before commencing the work, explaining in detail how they would approach it. They were patient to shuffle around heavy furniture at the destination when we were undecided where to place them. All in all a fantastic experience.

Beware! Don’t get fooled by their high ratings.
I had a terrible experience with them. They charged me and my husband over $1000 for moving a few prepacked stuffs and furnitures to a unit on a nearby street.

Very Expensive! We were charged $1005 for moving our pre-packed items and a few pieces of furniture for a 2 bedroom unit in the same suburb. The hourly rate for two movers and a truck was about $200 (incl.taxes) and they took 4.5 hours to do the job. I think it should not have taken more than 2.5 hours. There was an additional call-out fee of $90.
Overall, I found this deal very expensive and would recommend people to look for other feasible options in the market.

We used Platinum Removals & Storage for our recent move and found them to be absolutely professional and super efficient. The 3 guys who moved us went far beyond what was required. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for our next move.

A number of terrible experiences from the day:
1. I mentioned before the move day, the apartment I was moving out of has stairs, so it might be useful to bring a tri-wheel stair climber trolley. Despite my warning, they brought a two wheel trolley which meant moving was slowed and all my heavy appliances where treated very roughly on the way down.
2. Even with everything ready to load in taped boxes at the door and myself helping them load an unload, the move out of a small apartment took 3/4 of a full day and the charge was in excess of over $1k.
3. They dented my fridge during the move and denied any responsibility. As opposed to owning up to their mistake, they tried to put the blame on me.

Not a happy customer. Over priced, slow and rough with your belongings.

the job was done a few years ago, but its still left such a bad taste in my mouth every time i see the damage to my fridge daily that i had to write a review. Check your records for "Anks" otherwise i can forward the quote details via email.

We had assistance from Platinum Removals moving all our stuff from our home into storage.
The whole process was carried out the exact same way as described by the company, they packed it all with they material, moved into storage and when we were ready to move the new house we called them up, no fuss, all items delivered to our new home, one bed missed had two screws missing but we managed to get similar ones from Bunnings so all good.

I felt very comfortable to have Platinum Removals taking care of my relocations. Great service!

The most shocking and incompetent company I have ever had the misfortune of choosing for removal and storage services. Charged me an outrageous amount of money for a simple move, and did not even send me an invoice for how they arrived at this insane amount of money-they just took this amount directly off my MasterCard.

They damaged my many of my items in the removal process and when placing them into my storage unit. This included a $10,000 Venetian pot that was completely shattered-I realised this months later when I visited my storage unit, and they had not informed me of this breakage they had been responsible for. They also placed heavy boxes filled with items directly on top of 2 $15,000 leather chairs, which they didn’t even wrap or cover in any way. My 30+ year old, antique dinnerwares were placed recklessly in cardboard boxes without coverage and were shattered at the bottom of these boxes.

The company director Marcio Wilges is stuck-up, rude, and refused to apologise nor take the blame for many of my expensive things that were ruined by his employees.
This was after I finally managed to get in contact with him after he refused to respond to my calls and emails and take any responsibility for what had occurred.

DO NOT be fooled by the company reviews published online-this company is highly incompetent, unresponsive, inefficient and negligent.

Do not use.
Not great or professional - at the $140 per hour rate they charge, I expected professional removalists to arrive with a well maintained vehicle (possibly with some branding, so I know they were legit)
Instead I had 2 Lovely big inexperienced Brazilian boys turn up in a random, dinged up white van - OVER AN HOUR LATE AND NO COMMUNICATION. I emailed Gabriel as it was 7am and then finally received a text saying they’d be there ‘soon’. 30 mins later they arrived.
They didn’t have an Allen key to dismantle the bed, so I had to wait another 20 mins whilst the 2 of them went off to find a set.
The move was slow as there were 4 sets of stairs to go up and down but they had all this information in advance.
They loaded into my storage unit on the flat and I had to supervise the storage placement after I noticed them putting boxes marked “fragile” “glass” on the ground then stacking on top.
They managed to break a glass vase that they’d put on the floor?
Three and a half hours later they finished (it would have been longer if I hadn’t of supervised)
I was then overcharged an hour with no compensation or communication from “General manager” Gabriel.
Buyer beware - you can get much better, reputable, PROFESSIONAL and EXPERIENCED service at this price point.

We moved from Mosman to Manly with Platinum.
We have not unpacked it all yet but so far everything is in perfect conditions.

The move was made stress free and easy - the guys were professional, trustworthy and extremely careful with all my furnitures and packed boxes.
Can't recommend them high enough, will definitely use them again!

Gabriel and his team including Victor came highly recommended by our real estate agent and did not fail to impress from the moment they start the job early in the morning to completing the drop of furniture at our new home. They were polite, very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

This company is great. Their pricing is very transparent and the booking with Marcio went smoothly.

Everything was done on time, to an adequate standard, and at a great price ($1300 for a 2 bedroom house, including packing time and materials).

Leo and his team worked like troupers to pack my house in minimum time, and did it with a smile. Everything got moved without damage the next morning.

Leo and team even assembled my bed for me and connected my washing machine hoses and waste pipe - little touches that were appreciated.

I highly recommend them!

Big house, lots to be moved!

Stuff was all delivered safely, so far, we have not seen any damage so far which is terrific. The movers reassembled the beds first thing when they got to the drop off address which was much appreciated as it was getting dark and we wanted to make sure the kids could go to bed.

We really, really appreciate all the effort.

Marcio and his team are the most get the job done friendly kind of men! They are solutions orientated whilst being cost effective quick thinkers! It has been a pleasure to have you on my team to deal with what could have been described as a disaster waiting to happen but instead it was a seamless smooth transition and you stepped up and even took ownership of tasks beyond the scope of a removal storage transport business.

Platinum Removal and Storage organised a move from Bronte along with storage in their pods for 7 months for me in august. Then In the past 2 weeks they coordinated a terribly delivered incoming delivery from country NSW to then combining that delivery with my original the stuff, providing adequate trucking options and packing and unpacking trucks then transport to final destination now in Campbeltown plus unpacking the trucks there then unpacking again only to pack again in the final destination plus the drive back to Bronte.

It’s only with the practice of patience and perseverance along with your understanding nature along with your natural Brazilian easy going outlook that makes you the only people I will remember to recommend to anyone with removal and storage needs. Let alone when i move yet again, inevitably! Great work, fabulous prices given the situation was not ideal for anyone at times but you are a business man above all else and I respect you and your commitment to the job.

The fact I was unavailable to you and your team in the most critical days of each of the moves neither in person or on the phone should have seen this be harder than what your team and you pulled off. Platinum Removals Sunshine Coast provided excellent service in relocating our furniture from storage in Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. Tony and Lachlan were well presented, polite and treated our furniture with care and attention. They assembled our bed, connected the washing machine and ensured the fridge was balanced. A professional service and one I highly recommend and would use again!

DO NOT TRUST! I hired this company a year ago to move my things to storage, I trusted them to finish the job as I had to go as they were an hour late, When I went back to the storage unit some time later quite a few things were missing. The storage facility has records of who goes in and out and there was no activity before I went back, so the movers decided to help themselves to my property, lamps, marble table tops and other boxes have disappeared from the locked unit. I have contacted them with no response.
