Morally wrong in every way. I got my pay one day late due to christmas and they told me i owed $34. I happily paid it and decided to cancel my subscription but then apparently i haven’t paid? I showed the staff (who were nice about it) and emailed the receipt from paying, then 4 days later get an email saying now i owe $54? In total $88, when i already did pay the $34, just because i missed the $12 one. Really awful values and cannot wait for my subscription to be cancelled.

Great place, friendly staff, great considerate members. Only downside, wish there was a punching bag. Other than that fantastic.

Been to other gyms and no gym is nicer and cheaper in membership price than Urth fitness. The Many many wide varieties of machines have helped me reach my fitness needs & goals!

I enjoy going to urth fitness as it is in a convenient area and is affordable, I would definitely recommend to anyone else around the area

Absolutely awesome gym, heaps of different equipment! Won't run out of exercises to do even during peak times! Also extremely affordable!

I love my new gym. Machines are well kept and there are plenty to go around. The facility is clean. They offer classes and if you sign up for anything but the basic plan, you receive access to massage chairs, hydromassage beds, a sauna and a spray tan. Just an overall good feel to the place.

Most affordable gym in Newcastle! Has all the facilities you need including regular classes, good machines and 24/7 access available. Helpful and friendly staff too.

Best gym I have been to, staff are friendly and welcoming and the variety of equipment is unbelievable. It's everything you want in a gym to make you want to come back and stay healthy.

The rest is that the staff were not welcoming, I didn’t feel welcome at all whenever I entered. They would give off a rude hi whenever I entered.
When leaving they would say bye to the members that they talked to a lot but when it comes to me they didn’t. Maybe a few times but that’s cause I made eye contact with them. (I know this isn’t a big deal but like feeling welcomed to a gym that so many people can be afraid to enter in and feel self conscious every step they take to get better with themselves,
an welcoming hi will really boost them up and feel comfortable)

It’s changed a lot over the years of my mum going there and me joining her. But as soon as Planet fitness got an rebrand it went all down hill for us.
So thank you for the amazing equipment and trying to keep clean with the wipes ect ect
but also screw your staff members.
Please get better staff if you’ll wanna get better ratings.
You guys lost a member of 18 or so years of going there (my mum)

Is this venue low on staff?

I’ve been going to this gym for a while and the equipment has been great. When it comes to the staff I find there is only 1 person that seems to working. This becomes quite frustrating when I want to buy a drink at the counter or even just a question. I’m another circumstance I’ve tried calling this venue and the phone seems to ring out.

Highly recommend Urth planet fitness for their friendly staff, broad range of fitness classes for all abilities, and large array of equipment. Best value gym in Newcastle!

Unfriendly staff with no customer service skills. Smelly, old and rundown gym. It has been my worst experience. No refund received for upfront membership payment.

Out of all the Newcastle gyms I’ve enjoyed this one most of all! I love how large it is and how many rooms it has! Can’t forget the luxurious spa room! Spray tan booth

Quite busy most of the time but I like it. I can do my training and that's all I need.

Planet Fitness is an insanely affordable gym, that is massive in size and stocked to the brim with equipment. Tiered memberships to cover all needs with heaps of extras available.

Amazing gym. Very affordable, friendly and perfect for all aspects of fitness. There is a large space for a big variety of equipment with no long waits for machines. Staff are excellent!

Planet Fitness is a great gym, has a variety of classes that suit all body types and abilities. I have always enjoyed going to classes, have been doing for the past year or so! Probably one of the cheapest gyms in the area and definitely worth it! Highly recommend.

Great gym just wish they had better lighting in the gym itself and the bathroom, would 100% make the gym feel more bright and welcoming

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They just want your money and love hiding things in the T&C's so if you miss payments you lose way more money. I think the owners must be low on money? It's the only thing I can think of that would allow such a poor business model.

Staff are very nice as always however the staff turn over is incredibly bad. Just shows you how management are able to ruin a good working environment and make the staff suffer because of the incompetence of leadership and business knowledge.

The equipment is seriously lacking, dating back to the 90's with some of the equipment they have. I would recommend plus fitness or LITERALLY any home gym before you sign up to this place.

Great gym! Plenty of varied equipment available, staff are friendly and helpful, and the gym and changerooms are nice and clean
