Planet fitness Charlestown is such a welcoming gym with very friendly staff & very helpful, I am always greeted with a smile & positive attitude, this gym is a judgment free gym. If there is anything I’m having troubles with the staff don’t hesitate to help out.

High Quilty equipment & great training facilities, the classes are perfect with great coaches. Any fitness level is welcome from beginner to advanced

Friendly staff and affordable price. Gym have most of the equipments need for workout. Only problem is with parking limitations.

The older man who works here has to be the nicest guy i a have ever meet 5 stars for his hospitality and kindness the gym is pretty good also

I had anxiety about joining a gym but I feel very relaxed to go now the staff are wonderfulans are nice and friendly and now I'm becoming addicted to the gym I am so glad I joined up it's been really good for my mental health too ️

Great place to exercise, friendly staff and members and have been amazing through COVID with regular sanitation of the equipment.

Planet fitness is my favourite gym, I can actually feel the "judgement free" atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful too when i ask for help to adjust the equipment. It is also the cheapest gym in Newcastle.

Great value but they need to get they stuff sorted out with the spin classes. Can't seem to get a permanent spin instructor at Charlestown plus they have dropped classes.

I've never really been a gym person. I'd rather walk my dog along the lake. But I have recently joined the gym to strengthen up my muscles, and I have really enjoyed the classes. The staff are always friendly, and when I needed help with the machines, they were more than happy to answer my questions and show me the best machine to use and how to use it!

I have a Fitness passport membership. For years this has not been an issue as there was a signing book to register as you enter the gym. Just recently Planet Fitness at Charlestown told me I cannot attend their gym unless I purchase a $35 swipe card, even if I wish to only use the gym during normal trading staffed hours. I understand if I wanted to visit the gym after hours and gain access, but I only intend on using the gym during business hours. I feel this is purely a money grabbing venture and unfair for people that already pay to use the facilities.

I usually go 2-3 times a week and I can say it's pretty much what you'd expect affordable & affective
