Smoke & mirrors servicing. These guys don't do much at all in terms of servicing your car. Will lie & say they've done a lot then you take your car to a trusted mechanic & find they've actually done nothing. It would help if they actually know what they're talking about when you ask a legitimate question regarding functionality of your vehicle

This will be my first and last visit to service center.
Technician has messed up with my dash cam wires and haven’t installed well.
Also, my old aircon filter was installed so badly.
My log book was messed up too.
Haven't expected this from Hyundai service center.

In total, if I had approved all the extras that Hyundai tried to sell me, my total bill for my $325 capped price 30,000km service would have been $1032! My wife who knows nothing about cars would have said yes to all those things and got completely ripped off in the process!

Apparently my less than 3yr old i30 failed the battery test! I took my i30 to Batteryworld the following weekend for a second opinion. They noted that both battery terminals were completely loose and after tightening them, the battery achieved a perfect pass! I now have a “good battery” print out as proof! I just saved myself $250! Sounds like Hyundai technicians must be getting commission for any spare parts or extra they sell!

Capped price servicing was introduced at dealerships to encourage customers to come back who had previously been ripped off at dealerships! Well now we have come full circle! Capped price servicing is now basically false advertising! You get the basic of basic service with lots of strongly recommended extras! I will be taking my car to an honest independent mechanic for any future servicing. Not a smart marketing strategy Hyundai!

(Also forgot to mention that my car was leaking oil post service when I got it home, and the log book had not been stamped! Took the car back the next morning, turns out the mechanic had dropped the dirty oil filter in the engine bay and was too lazy to clean the oil up!)

Great Service Department. Always show you on video what is and has been done/parts replaced. Courteous Staff. Thoroughly recommend Phil Gilbert for warranty and service work on your new car. Very happy.

I'm a regular customer and always find the service of a high standard. Contact before, during and after the work keeps me informed and gives me an opportunity to make the right decisions on the work and cost involved. I trust my car is being maintained for the long term.

Easy to get to, Covid restrictions aside, a painless experience. The car is pretty new so it was an oil and filter change and a general checkup. Will use again.

Regular servicing which was okay. I was very disappointed that the car did not get a wash or interior vacuum apparently due to covid-19. That puzzles me as service people can climb all over the car but can't seem to pick up a sponge bucket, hose or vacuum cleaner. Not sure if the capped servicing had a discount due to lack of cleaning, but either way I was disappointed the car didn't get a clean.

Customer Service was exceptional and the vehicle service was quick and efficient

Although after driving for some days/weeks after I have been hearing thumping noises when releasing the accelerator, especially when driving uphill. Would be good to give it a check.

A welcome experience, much different to other dealer service centres I've experienced. The service details were as expected, with drop off and collection efficient in what was an obviously very busy centre. The personalised report and video of the work was an impressive feature of the service.

I brought my car into Phil Gilbert Service Centre as I have had good experience with them when buying a car.
The issues with my vehicle were identified correctly. The team communicated in a transparent and professional manner. They were happy to involve me to choose which part of car needed to be serviced. Pricing was reasonable and honest.
Quality of the mechanical job provided is great.

Either dishonest or lacking experience was what I took away after servicing my Prado here. Despite having “wheel rotate and balance” on the invoice, as part of a regular 100K service, when I checked the vehicle, I found the wheels were not rotated. When I enquired about it and requested for them to complete the job as stated, I was told firstly that the tyres were already in the ideal position. This is despite the report stating that front tread was 5mm and rear was 7mm. This was a laughable response, and I told them that is simply not right. They then came back to me by saying they don’t have the right equipment to do a balance on aftermarket wheels. Having owned multiple cars with aftermarket wheels in the past, I know that this simply is not true. A wheel balancing machine is not unique to a manufacturer nor a specific wheel specification, and is able to support a variety of sizes of wheels (as wheel sizes and specifications vary drastically across a single manufacturer’s models). At this point in time I could not be bothered dealing with this lack of professionalism anymore, and requested for a reduction on the service price to compensate for the reduced service, and the fact that I’ll now have to take the car to the tyre shop myself. Unsurprisingly, they wouldn’t budge as they don’t really have any real sense of customer service. They also tried to charge me $75 for a key fob programming job that takes a couple of clicks in their diagnostic tool, and tried to upsell me on a power steering flush despite not having checked the power steering system.

I won’t be taking my car there again, and if you want an honest and straightforward experience, I would suggest you avoid it too.

To the service manager, please give me a call to discuss my experience, if you’ve got any desire to provide the customer experience that your team seem to think you provide.

Mostly positive experience and friendly staff. However, when I turned up to collect the car after my work finished it was not left outside the centre in the place I had agreed with the staff when I left it. After spending 20 mins trying to find the car I finally managed to track down a security guard on site who found our car inside a locked garage. Needs a better system in place to help with communication so that this doesn't happen to others.

Completed 4 year service plus some other work.
Had car 8am to 4 pm
Completed the service ran out of time to do the other work
Didn’t contact me during the day at all and I had to call them myself to find out if car was ready to pick up.
A bit below my expectation, given they promise regular updates

First vehicle service - great end to end experience from initially booking the service and navigating through the COVID way of dropping off and picking up the vehicle. Zero communication. Dismissive perception of the PAYING customers time. A total inability to stand by their own self imposed timelines. David in particular was one one the least helpful human beings known to man. I would of had a better experience talking to/dealing with a plank of wood. David has ZERO understanding of customer service and I genuinely think the first word he learnt at birth was 'sorry'. Which has served him well as that's all he's been regurgitating since then. If you can go literally anywhere else, do. This place is as total clusterfuk, I'm sure the mechanics are as good as anywhere else but the front of house staff like David should probably be looking for a different vocation.
