Penrith Physiotherapy Sports Centre

My journey with cerebellar ataxia has been challenging, but recently I've wanted a more detailed test to monitor my condition. Today Jared performed a SARA (Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia) clinical exam.

This is a specific assessment tool that neurologist may use so it's impressive he was able to explain and have me perform this exam.

So even though their name is "Penrith Physiotherapy Sports Centre" doesn't mean they can't see people about other issues, I highly recommend them as I’ve seen them on and off for many years now. (since I was about 14.)

Ann-Lise is brilliant! Hand / wrist physiotherapy is her specialty niche knowledgable & friendly!

My first session with Jereme was extremely helpful. I am an older person and felt he really cared about my painful hips. Giving me some great strategies to strengthen my glutes.

Ashleigh has be seeing my daughter for sometime now as is allows professional and makes my daughter feel comfortable. When it came time to seeing someone myself, I knew exactly who I wanted to see and that was Ash.

I had a great first appointment with Tom after a serious pelvic injury and surgery. I could notice improvement with hip discomfort immediately following the appointment. Tom checked in the following day to check how things were progressing.

Tom was very thorough at our first consultation, trying to work out how best to support me with strengthening my knee. The initial program to strengthen my knee is quite acievable

Urgently needed a massage for a sore neck and back.was able to get in same day.

Very friendly, professional staff. I’ve personally received treatment from Alan on a few occasions over a 20 year period. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced and the best I believe in physio rehabilitation.

I had an initial consult with Emily Standen yesterday for treatment of a long term hip injury linked to a cycling accident. Emily's assessment and treatment, which includes Connect Therapy for thoracic ring dysfunction, was very thorough. Emily is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable in her field which also made me feel comfortable and confident. Emily also showed great patience and empathy, particularly in relation to my related stress and frustration. I look forward to working with Emily on a treatment, recovery and wellness plan and eventually returning the exercise I love - particularly bushwalking and yoga. Thank you Emily:)

Declan was friendly and took the time to assess me and to examine me then proceeded to treat me.
Already feel better and have great confidence that with regular visits to Declan that I will get the results I am after.
