Peninsula Leisure Centre reviews
64 Love the pools, sauna and spa but it's sad to see lovely young girls walking around in
G strings this is a rehabilitation pool area and is frequented by all types if Disability people at least put some shorts on in the public areas and have respect for others and yourself.
Excellent swim center for everything swim from the very young to pensioners. Has a well equipped gym with program instructors
I really like the swimming pool. I cant believe the really short hours its open on weekends i think it that it is ridiculous
Facilities are fun for kids but I have found the people at reception really unhelpful and quite rude. Today I enquired about swim classes for my little one and it was clear that I was being a bother to this woman. Simple questions were painful for her to answer and I just felt a general sense of distain so told her not to worry. Second time I have had this experience.
. Side note, It’s very strange that they choose not to run the water slide during school holidays when the center is busy with so many children? 0_o
Very good and reasonably affordable indoor sports centre with plenty of activities for children and adults. The outdoor area has been transformed to add waterworks for young children to play. It is a very well kept Centre.
Great place, with many water based activities. The 3 year old twins loved it especially the big bucket of water tipping over. We will be back.
Love the place, Im normally down for a swim and exercise 3 days a week.
They have a great little coffee shop as well, Great coffee
Great place for our children to learn to swim, lots of kids pool options and a big playground next to the cafe.
If u want to go to the pools instead of going to the beach this is the place to go to it has a great indoor pools also have a good little pool for baby's as well
A regular site for me and my kids. Perfect place to spend a few hours no matter the weather. With their large heated indoor pool with waterslide rain, hail or shine the kids are always happy
Pools are good, but the area is not very well ventilated. Wouldn't hurt to open up the windows.
Lobe swimjbg in pool: -3 i love the water on my feet, makes my totsie wet: (bu dog not allowed in pool
Quite nice place the chips took ages in the Cafe and the gym can be a little expensive but their still good. Pools were pretty clean and nice tempature overall a good experience.
Drove an hour bc the pics online looked awesome, but we were so disappointed. Looks lovely, except the water is freezing, the air being pushed through is freezing and there really isn't anything for kids over the age of 3 to do inside (unless it's the weekend, when it's overcrowded). Cafe is ridiculously overpriced. But.it looks nice?
The slide should be operational for every day attending, as well as a few toys for the kids to borrow. PLEASE RAISE THE HEAT IN THE POOL! Or at least in the room.
Really good place and people for the pools.coffee shop on other hand over priced rude won't help you unless your paying just a full price gouging I think should be ashamed
Excellent facility, membership rates are great value, there is a wide variety of fitness classes run by supportive trainers.
Pretty good indoor pool. Let down is the filthiness of grime around the edges and railings and lack of maintenance on lockers and showers. We attend 1- 2 times a week and there is always enough staff (not counting lifeguards) that 1 could be taking care of the filth rather than chatting as they are
It’s a good place for kids, but poorly managed. Toilets and changing rooms are dirty. And Gosh! There was a lock in a toilet that was broken for weeks and they didn’t fix it- people were locking themselves in it. I locked myself there with my 4 old old- he started panicking. It took me 10 min of trying. Of course no one from the reception picked up the phone (as always) and came to help.
Not only that but they conveniently keep charging you even when you cancel or pause. I had booked my son for 8 lessons only but they kept charging me after those 8 sessions (apparently that’s not possible anymore but I wasn’t explained that when signed up) When I raised the issue no one even offered makeup days or apologised - it’s always your fault
Massive and modern facilities. Always nice to see theres a cafe! Friendly staff that was happy to tell you where the changing rooms are. Came here for the pool. 25m only the other half was closed (can transform to 50m).
