It has been a while since we have been to Pasta Italia Cucina now rebranded as Rappatoni. We had forgotten what had previously made us a regular customer until we ordered yesterday again. Ordered Ela Re, The Boss Mex and Cheesy Garlic pizza. Wowsers! It was soo good that it was worth the overeat that we did as a family. Couldn't come to terms how great a pizza could be compared to having eaten all the fast food pizzas in the past. Thanks guys.

The food, atmosphere and service were all exceptional! We ordered three pastas and they were all incredible and we didn't have to wait long after ordering. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and we loved the wallpaper they had around. The two workers there - one was called Emily and I didn't catch the mans name - were both very friendly and welcoming and made the whole dining experience even better. Obviously one of the best Italian places around and we're definitely looking forward to coming back again!

Thought I would commend Pasta Italia Cucina on the beautiful past we were served for lunch today.

Thank you!

Nice food, it was a shame about the none existence of service. I get the new advancement in ordering your own food but not to have anyone tell you the specials or see if we would like to order desert. And yes we would have had desert and coffee if that was asked.

Shame this used to be a nice place but we will not be attending again.

Dined here with my partner on the 11th of April at around 5pm or 6pm (this info is for the owner), and had a horrible experience and now I’m about to write a novel about it. Enjoy.
We walk in and are seated but asked to order at the counter or on our phones. That was a bit disappointing but nothing to cry about.
Anyways, so my partner ordered the Linguine Fabiano and I decided to order the Honey Ricotta Toast and the Rocket and Parmesan Salad because I wasn’t hungry at first and I just thought I’ll have something small. We go outside to wait, and we came back in 20-ish minutes, expecting at least my honey toast or salad to be served up as an entrée type of thing but it wasn’t. I thought I’d wait a little longer, why jump the gun? Ha.
We wait another 10-15 minutes at which point I started getting kind of antsy because I mean, what’s so hard about some honey ricotta toast or a starter salad? I kept looking at the waitress but she just ignored us and did not communicate anything. I felt very hungry, uncomfortable, peeved and impatient.
At the 35 minute mark, I decided to finally ask about the toast and they said they’d have it soon. Another 10 minutes goes by and FINALLY the toast comes.
I was just glad to finally have some food for the table because we had been waiting for 45 minutes and we were very hungry. However, when I bite into the bread, I am shocked from how HARD and BURNED the edges are. Like at least half the toast was BLACK and had burn marks all over it which was so disgusting and disappointing. I was eating cold, rock hard bread for $12. A ridiculous price for a badly prepared menu item! Like geez, we are PAYING CUSTOMERS.
After a couple bites, I couldn’t take it and got up and asked the waitress to replace it because it was cold. She didn’t say sorry or look sympathetic or anything. Just said okay and turned away quickly. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
The new toast was slightly warmer but still pretty hard to chew. I just gave up and ate it. We should’ve left at this point but we really didn’t think it was going to be much longer. Spoiler alert: it was.

At the 1 hour mark, we asked about the Linguine Fabiano. They said it was coming soon but we didn’t have much faith in that.
I just wanted to ask for a refund and leave but my partner reasoned with me and we didn’t.
Finally, after almost 1.5 hours of torturous, indefinite waiting, we got the Parmesan and Rocket Salad and the Linguine Fabiano. FINALLY. Nothing bad to say about the pasta because it really was delicious and different to normal pasta that isn’t handmade at the shop. I’ll give them that and that’s probably the only thing I’ll give them and that’s what the 1 star is for. The chicken was juicy and cut into perfect little pieces so that each bite was saturated with the perfect pasta to chicken ratio. It was so good that I even ordered a plate for myself (waited 30 minutes for it-now that’s much more of a reasonable wait). But absolutely not worth that initial wait and I’d never come here and do it again.
Oh and the Parmesan and Rocket Salad? Absolutely PATHETIC. It’s a bowl full of of thin rocket leaves with the slightest drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette on top and an even stingier amount of Parmesan cheese. It felt like I was eating grass. Probably very healthy since it’s not drenched in dressing or cheese but very misleading calling it a ‘salad’ when it’s only 3 ingredients in total including the dressing and the garnish. And charging $12 for that in Casula.who exactly do you think you’re scamming?

We finished our meal, ordered a jug of lemon lime and bitters and then we left. No apologies at all, no free food or drinks to say sorry, NOTHING to reassure us they care about what we just went through or attempt to have us return. And so we won’t. Message received, Pasta Italia.

The positive thing was food was good quality and service was attentive. You know the pasta and ingredients are fresh. Though prices are a bit steep for something around Casula.

The negative is that Food was salty, our Calamari Fritti was overly salty and our Parmesan & Rocket Salad could’ve been less heavy handed on the cheese.

We waited over an hour for mains, ordered around 7.45 and didn’t receive it til 8.45~ I would expect at least some sort of “hey so sorry about the wait, here’s some olives or something” to compensate like other restaurants whom have compensated for the long wait but instead we just got informed “5 more minutes” which was 20 minutes and no explanation as to why our food took so long.

Oh and to top it off, having a cockroach roaming near our table (honestly beyond control) but that really topped it for us.

I’m willing to give the place another go but after that experience and considering how pricey I’m not sure.

Terrible TERRIBLE experience today at this place.
Got to the restaurant at 6.15pm for dinner and booked a table for 2.

By the time we were attended to and got seated it took a while then once we sat down we were told we have to order at the counter and pay for the order? !
So i ordered 2 pizzas and 2 entrees a very simple order!
An hour later at 7.30 the food comes to the table with one wrong pizza that they got wrong however the waitress said sorry it was a miscommunication there, but we can add some topping to it and fix it up, Really? !
I lost my appetite at that point and asked to take it away so they bring a box over for me to pack the pizza up.
Extremely disappointing to say the least and safe to say I won't be back again.

Service was excellent, however my dish was not so great. The pasta was not cooked properly and was hard. My partner enjoyed her dish.

Food is fantastic! Service has improved over the year and the open kitchen is great. When we ordered take ways however the chef wasn't very friendly. Eat in is much better than take away.

Make sure you check your bill before you leave. Use to be nice, very average. FYI don't order a glass of prosecco, you could get a bottle or 6 pk for the price of a glass.

Probably won't go again, only 15 people in restaurant, they had 3 girls on the floor and we had to order food at bar & pay at same time, I thought this is restaurant, not a pub. Long wait for food to come out, especially mains. Pizza was falling apart when you pick up a slice & we were told cause to many toppings.wt.maybe you should change something either thickness of dough or toppings. Otherwise garlic pizza wasn't bad,

Got some food delivered. Garlic pizza was ok. Gnocchi ordered literally a spoon full for $26. What a joke. Was reading the reviews apparently under new management which makes sense now.

Thank you for seating my large family tonight. Food was amazing and we will definitely be back again. My faves were the spaghetti crab, both the gnocchi dishes, and the salsiccia tartufo pizza! Amazing: D

The best for local Italian! My partner and I are here almost every week. It's amazing and super friendly!

It used to be my go-to Italian Restaurant. I still love their handmade pasta selection.

You can taste the difference in their bread and pasta. As a massive lover of Garlic Bread, the quality of bread takes it up a notch! (although, it could use less salt on top)

What happened to pasta Italia used to be our favourite pasta joint in the area. They managed to absolutely destroy the menu. The spaghetti crab and linguini prawn were not what they used to be. Everything was incredibly salty (and I love my extra salt). Beware of the carbonara. Incredibly salty. The pasta Itself was not what it used to be either. Took over an hour for the olives and grano entree to come out and even longer for the mains. We had to ask for cutlery as only knives were provided. They didn’t have enough small share plates for our group of 8 so asked if we could share. When we asked if we could have the pizza sliced into more than 4 slices we were told the kitchen was too busy and gave us a knife (come on, this isn’t dominoes home delivered DIY). My wife used to beg me to take her here as a treat. Now she’ll beg me never to take her again. Our group spent almost $500. Regretfully.

With a reservation at 1pm, we waited till 2: 30pm to have cold bread on the table as a starter. Could it get any slower! The restaurant wasn't even half full
