PACK & SEND Balmain

The team at Pack and Send Balmain did a fabulous getting a large picture to McLaren Vale for us. Des, in particular, went out of his way to accommodate our changing requests and to keep us apprised of progress. The cost was very reasonable and the painting arrived at the forecast date and time. These outcomes, allied with the high quality packaging, earn a “highly recommended” accolade from us.

Quote was reasonable versus other companies. Helpful staff at the Balmain premises, and an easy process. My large box was transported from Balmain Sydney to a private residential address in Riyadh Saudi Arabia in 5 days which was excellent.
Will definitely use PackSend again.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I'm really surprised at all the 5 star positive reviews for the Balmain Branch. We sent 3 large boxes from a Melbourne branch, and they arrived at the Balmain store a day earlier than we asked them to arrive (and it cost over $400). The Balmain staff called and demanded we come right now, they were not going to hold them overnight. In fact, they refused to even bring them inside their shop.

So they left our boxes of irreplacement handmade Christmas decor (for an event) on the street unsupervised. See the photos. I would not recommend sending anything valuable or irreplaceable to Balmain and after trusting Pack and Send, I'll rethink that too after this awful, stressful experience. The staff were so unpleasant and rude, there's just no need to treat people with such disrespect.

We had to scrable to get them, it was so stressful, trying to arrange a van to pick them up early (extra cost, stress and time) knowing our valuables were just sitting there on the street. We got our boxes, but so could anyone else have! No one was around when we managed to pick them up, we just took them, no ID, no checking. We literally just took them off the street.   That is the opposite of good service.

Response to your response: there was plenty of room in the store. We offered to bring them in (while we went to sort out transport). They wouldn't let us bring them in.

Great service and support from the Balmain crew.they handled my art work with the care it deserved and it arrived well packed and within 2 days of collection. Their pricing is reasonable considering the effort they went to secure the piece. I highly recommend Balmain Pack and Send and I will be using their services again.

My packaged arrived today. Thank you for your fantastic service. Packaging of the Old Country Roses Tureen dish by the Balmain team was brilliant, pretty much impossible for it to break in transit. Pack and Send will be my go to from now on. Brilliant you also offer a pick up service, so handy as the lady I was purchasing from doesn’t drive. If it wasn’t for you I couldn’t have bought it to add to my collection.

The business was very efficient, prompt and considerate in handling 2 items for me. One item was held over while I was away, the 2 were sent together and the packaging of both was very good also.

I cannot recommend Pack & Send Balmain highly enough! I contacted them regarding a shipment of artworks to California and Des was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me every step of the way. The quote was extremely reasonable and the artworks were packed very securely (which was my biggest concern because the artworks were in glass frames).
