Good experience at the practice. We are new to the area and were looking for family GP. Dr. Jonathan was very patient and respectful with our Bub. Highly professional and helpful staff at reception as well. Everything was on time Thank you.

In all my visits to this medical centre I have experienced friendly reception, helpful and professional staff. This centre has many different services which I have needed, the medical professionals are caring and have helped overcome some health issues. I feel confident and safe to return in the future for any possible health concerns.

Every doctor l have seen at Orchre has had the highest level of knowledge, professionalism and a healthy dose of empathy, which you really need in times of illness. They seem to diagnose ‘people’ in their entirety, rather than just symptoms, taking in lifestyle, diet, mental health and everything else that contributes to your overall wellbeing. I feel my health is in good hands at this clinic.

When my longtime GP Dr Jim Turner retired several years ago and retired, he recommended Dr Marc Wilkinson at Ochre Medical Centre in Crown Street, Wollongong.
How fortunate for me and my wife to have such a wonderful caring GP, during my recent spell with serious illnesses he did his utmost to liaise with the specialists.
Thanks to Dr Wilkinson I’m still here, and hope to be for a lot longer.

Great Centre and lovely Reception staff. Everything you need in the one place. Dr Lisa Fernandez is fabulous, knowledgeable and thorough. I’m now seeing a Dietician Chloe in the same centre. She is great and a wealth of knowledge. I’m now going to make a skin check appointment at the same centre.

Reception, Nurses, Doctors incredibly understanding and caring. My Doctor Dr Nicole Busch is one of the most intuitive Doctors I have had the pleasure to meet still in her 10 year learning curve to become fully qualified. I am 65 with a 45 year alcohol addiction [I also had still have and will always have an appreciation for Pot Hash L. S. D. MDMA which are now being scientifically proven therapeutically effective in physical and mind problems World Wide] she worked out [which no other Doctor had] I had diabetes vitamin/ mineral deficiency including B12 also calcium absorption problems with minimal drug prescriptions except B12 injections diabetes pills and some supplements encouraged me to adopt a mainly Plant based lifestyle and a daily exercise program including meditation, surfing, swimming, bike riding, yoga
My body after 6 months is almost normal for my age, 6.5 blood sugar [5.5 normal] minerals/vitamins cholesterol normal lost 10 Kg, still 25 Kg to go but I cheat sometimes

You won't make a mistake visiting

I like Ochre medical centre, but the only gripe i really have is when the receptionist asks me WHY i want to see my doctor (to me that's NOT on). Even with telehealth STILL operating, no office staffer has the right to ask a patient as to WHY they want to see their DR.

I am very happy with the doctors, not so much with the front desk girls

I have been looking for a new GP for my daughter and finally after 2 years of searching and asking for recommendations, it seems we have hit the jackpot. My daughter has complex physical & mental health issues so needed a doctor that would be able to negotiate that with compassion & understanding. We were initially recommended to 2 other GP’s from this practice by 2 different people (both GP’s had closed books). After checking out reviews I decided to book in with any available doctor from this practice and was so glad I did. Dr Rhys Holioak was absolutely lovely & we came out of the appointment feeling heard & supported. Finding the right GP can be difficult for someone with complex needs. We look forward to developing a close working relationship with Ochre Medical Centre & Dr Holioak in the future.
