North Star holiday Resort

Great beachside location for a family holiday. The pool area is fantastic, kids club is hoof for smaller children (up until about 10). Ensuite sites were clean but the bathrooms are very small. The whole park is non smoking which we thought was great but this was not enforced, which was a real shame. Walking through the park and even sitting outside our caravan we had smoke around us, which was disgusting. We had a short power outage. The resort has no back up generators. This would have been good just for powering the pool and restaurant at least. The adult day spa needs more staff. We have now been here 3 times and can never get it. The customer service at the restaurant was hit and miss. We had 2 lovely servers, 1 apathetic server and then a young girl who was rude and ignores customers. It might be an older mentality but we would have thought a simple "hello, be with you in a moment" would be a standard response when someone is waiting to be served but we just got a look of attitude and then she walked out the back. Not a good look for a customer service role. The reception ladies were really friendly and the park also offers a tracker service to bring in trailers and caravans to park them in your spot, with the plate 'marriage saver'. Was a good laugh. The beach is across the road, as it an inlet which is great for smaller children and those with paddle boards. Cabarita beach is 5 mintures drive down the road. Great little beach side town. It is like stepping back into the 50s. Overall, we would definitely recommend North Star for a family holiday.

What an incredible resort and unbelievable customer service! We have been caravanning with our small family for almost 5 years and this was by far one of the most amazing resorts. The facilities are incredibly clean, the atmosphere so peaceful and the staff are the real point of difference. On day one we were greeted by 2 of the most loveliest receptionists and even our van was tractorerd (yes they offer to park your van for you) to our designated spot. We hadn’t even been there an hour when a maintenance man came over and offered us an extension cord for our areal and also some great tips on local whale watching spots. From the kids club to the restaurant the customer service was at the same level you would find at a fine dining restaurant or 5 star hotel we we’re absolutely blown away and having stayed at over 50 different caravan parks the people who work at Northstar where the best yet. We cant wait to come back again

North Star Holiday Resort is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The resort's location is nestled amidst beautiful natural surroundings. The two accommodation villas in which the family stayed were comfortable and well-maintained, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay.

The variety of activities available was impressive - from swimming pools and water slides facilities and the cafe entertainment food/drink options from Ripples cafe, there was never a dull moment.

The food at the on-site restaurants was delicious, with an excellent selection to satisfy all the kids/adults taste buds. I particularly enjoyed the cocktail / happy hour and even live music which added a nice touch to dining experiences.

Overall, my experience at North Star Holiday Resort was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Whether it's a family vacation or a relaxing retreat, this resort truly shines like a North Star in the hospitality industry.

All in all its a lovely park with great amenities for all ages of kids and adults. However, we booked well in advance as a group with specific sites to celebrate a family holiday together. (We did confirm our site numbers when deposits and final payments were made). This wasn't to be at check in as previous camper decided to stay on longer and the park then split up our group. Not the scenario we had planned and there was no level of flexibility from the manager. A bit poor as all up we had 7 bookings including cabins for this occasion. Not a nice way to start our annual get together.

My wife and I stayed just one 1 while our 2 kids and my mother enjoyed an entire week here. This is my review for the night we stayed.
The location is great with the beach accessible via a short walk from the resort. It's recommended to wear some footwear as there are rocks and sticks along the short walk to the beach. The beach you walk to isn't highly recommended for kids due to the rips and unknown nature of the water caused by tides coming in and out of the inlet under the bridge. Swim with caution here!
The amenities are superb. The kids had a great time at the outdoor play equipment, games room, swimming pool and indoor play centre. There was truly so much to do and it is all a part of the resort.
We stayed in a villa/cabin/suite towards the rear of the park which was well equipped for everything you would need. If you plan to stay a week, I'd recommend taking your own washing powder for clothes washing and dishwashing liquid as there isn't much provided. Air conditioning, TV with Foxtel, BBQ area on the deck, large comfortable beds and excellent bathroom amenities are all highlights to the accommodation as well.
If you stay for longer than 5 days (confirm this first, don't quote me), you'll get breakfast included from the café. You'll need a little patience with the café team as they made mistake on our dinner order as well as our breakfast order too. They are very friendly and fixed our order issues but it was a little frustrating.
I would absolutely book here again for my wife and kids to enjoy a holiday together. It was too good to not want to enjoy all the fun things to do with the kids there. Even the water slides looked like so much fun. Although I think it is a bit of a bummer that the open hours of the water park aren't long enough.
Highly recommend this place and I hope you have a great time staying there after my recommendations

Happy kids, happy life. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. And I? I appreciated the size of the park (not too big, not too small) and the good size tentsites (with plenty of shade). Only thing bad about our holiday was our neighbor snoring like a maniac and keeping us awake. But you csn not hold that against the park

This was unexpected, the cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Sites was clean and staff provided information as required on local sites and places to eat and see.

Absolutely the best place I've stayed so far. Everything is here in the park from spas, lap pool to water park for kids or really big older kids (myself and partner) to enjoy. Well priced. Great size site. Tractor to assist if needed to get on to your site. Will be back with out a doubt.

This place is a must for your next holiday and has something for everyone. Right near the beach and headland for starters. Has amenities at the front of the resort fuel, and basic groceries. Then there is the resort itself.it's a kiddy wonderland with loads of activites including water slides and Sammy's water activity area for the kids and bigger kids! For Mum and Dad (when the kids are busy) an Adults Only pool, Gym & Spas. Also a Massuese and Hairdressers onsite too. There is a great choice of different types of cabins, campsites and ensuites to choose from too

This place is amazing it has everything and more it would have to be one of my favorite parks I could go on and on go and find out for yourself.

I would like to personally thank North Star Holiday Resort for accommodating us, Adventure All Stars, in free accommodation last week whilst we were filming. The cabins were very cosy and spacious! Would 110% recommend anyone to stay here!

Fabulous park very tidy very well run not a sound and it's Friday night of a long weekend!

This place was just awesome. Perfect place to holiday with kids. We have a 3,5 and 7 year old, and there was something here for all of them to enjoy.
Pool, water slides and fountains were perfect for the heat. Awesome playground to distract them, and having the kids club activities was really convenient. The little roads were quiet enough that the kids could ride their scooters safely.
Facilities were kept immaculately clean. We went on a pretty busy weekend, and there were plenty of BBQ, tables, toilets etc.
Lots of beautiful beaches around to adventure to as well.
Will definitely be going back again!

Our family of 6 have spent the last week in a Grande cabin here and have been so impressed with the accom, facilities and amazing staff. They have thought of everything you could possibly need to live comfortably for a week away from home. The on site cafe, Ripples, was outstanding for food, coffee and cocktails. The waterpark is absolutely awesome for kids of all ages with play areas for the littlies and waterslides for the older kids. So much to keep the whole family entertained! We will definitely be coming back. Cannot rate highly enough A+

Best park we have been to. Kids loved the water park. We didn't have to leave as everything you need is within the park.
