Really nice and clean place to get a piercing and Sterling is the absolute best! Will definitely come back for my future piercing and no doubt gonna recommend it to my friends.

P.s. It doesn’s hurt at all! Maybe just a sting for the first 2 seconds (?) AHAHA

My friend and I both got multiple piercings with Sterling, and while I wasn’t completely new to piercings - my lovely friend was!

Sterling made us both feel incredibly comfortable and safe in getting the piercings done, and even gave advice on any future piercings and placement of the ones we got.

Just had my face dermal done with sterling, he was extremely professional explained everything that was happening, made me feel very comfortable definitely one of the best piercers to go to in Sydney!

I had my conch here and it was such an experience!
A male staff is informative and really friendly.
It costs a little more than other popular shop but still reasonably.
There are many stuffs sold here and they are pretty cool.
Hopefully they will have more jewellery in stock.

Got my ears pierced for the first time. The person there this Sunday was amazing and very considerate to my fear of needles.

Had my outer conch & lobe done here - 11/10 would recommend. The staff are insanely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable, they are very experienced and the services were professional. All care was taken and everything was properly sterilised. They clearly know what they're doing, and I felt like they went above and beyond.

Sterling is great at making people feel comfortable too - no anxiety whatsoever, the whole thing was just very chill. Top tier guys - bravo.

Also, I would recommend the Junipurr jewelry line they stock (as at Dec 2021) - very cute and great quality.

Had 2 x piercings done tonight and Sterling was amazing, kind, patient and informative throughout the whole process.

I was having some issues deciding on the locations of my piercings and Sterling was soooo patient, answered all my questions and even gave me some things to consider about them so I could make an informed decision.

The piercings were over pretty quickly and weren't overly painful (daith and conch) and was talked through the aftercare pretty thoroughly.

I got my septum pierced by Sterling today. He made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me the confidence that it’d be fine even though my septum was not straight (only found that out today!) and my sweet spot was extremely small. He said he wouldn’t let me walk out that door until I was satisfied even if that took a while, but it only took 10-15 mins until I left and I know that I’ll be coming back here for my future piercings!

Highly recommend this place. So friendly, helpful and professional! Sterling pierced my eyebrow and lip beautifully in under 10 minutes. Always a good experience, will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Got my second lobes and a helix done a few nights ago by Ari (pink hair). First piercings since getting my lobes done as a kid. They had to push my appointment back half an hour to get some more jewellery for me but it wasn't a problem at all. I really appreciated that they emphasised they wanted me to have jewellery that I liked and would be comfortable with for the healing process, rather than just having earrings I felt meh about. The actual piercing was so quick and Ari made me feel comfortable and explained everything about the process, how to take care of the fresh piercings. Studio was very clean too. Would definitely recommend! Already telling my friends to get theirs done here.

I just had my forward helix and upper helix done by the lovely Shan today, and had lovely chats with another piercist, Ahri. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or be happier with the outcome. I want to give a detailed review to reflect the detailed level of care they have shown me today.

1. Hygiene – even in my first call to them, Shan spent a few minutes describing in detail how much care Neon Needles takes in ensuring a sterilised environment and equipment. Upon entering the premise, it is very clear that it is one of the cleanest tattoo/piercing establishments. I had to come back just a little bit after my appointment because they wanted to carefully sterilise a more custom piece for me. That is going above and beyond in my opinion. Shan also put on new gloves just to take photos of the piercing at the end!

2. Placement – I was told by another very reputable piercist that I did not have enough cartilage for a forward helix. Shan took the time to carefully examine my ear and told me that it was possible at a specific location, and the size of the earing that would best suit me. This was NOT driven by greed to make more $$, but because she actually cared enough to look at my ear and find suitable jewellery for it. Even as she was piercing, she was extremely careful in marking the placement to make it perfect. It is now my FAVOURITE piercing I have. She also nailed the placement on the first try and it was exactly how I wanted it to look (even better actually)

3. Depth of knowledge – both Shan and Ahri spent extensive time explaining to me the different types of metal, the benefits of implant grade titanium, and how they have a specific way of putting in the jewellery that really helps it stay in place. They listened to what I wanted very carefully and explained to me all possible outcomes of different piercings given my anatomy (e.g. I have small ears and it was important to me for piercings to not interfere with ear buds). Afterwards, they gave a very extensive of aftercare procedures.

4. Friendly – they are some of the nicest and most patient people I have ever met, and not once did I feel rushed or that they did not understand/care about my needs.

5. Pain level – honestly it was so much less painful than I expected. Shan was an absolute pro and I would rate the pain level as a 3/10. Not really more painful than a lobe piercing to be honest, which is really to their credit because my other helix piercings not done by them hurt a lot more.

You have a fabulous team Sterling, and I could not recommend Shan more highly. I will definitely be coming back if I want anything else pierced!

Great service, friendly, good for kids. Paid $160 for daughters piercing, titanium studs with gem and special spray for post piercing care.

I got my nostril pierced recently, they guys took time to talk me through the process and how to take care of the piercing. It's been a week, there's no swelling, no issues and it looks great! They also have really good jewellery selection - there's something for everyone, even when you're picky: D highly recommend. Thanks Sterling!

Had piercings in both ears over the weekend – Sterling did a great job, thanks so much man! Knows his stuff, took the time to get the position right and besides a quick sting at the start was pain free – no swelling or drama and had settled down within an hour or so, feels like they've been there forever. Awesome work!

I visited neon needles for my thirds and seconds on my lobes and I was absolutely pleased with both the result and the way it was handled. Shan was nothing but a pleasure to talk to. They answered every little detail and questions I had and was extremely patient and made the experience so comfortable and pleasent. The environment was also extremely clean and nice too.
Definetely highly reccomending and going to see Shan!:)
