Myall Lakes National Park reviews
45Service, surroundings, quality of food equal to price was well worth the visit. No problem recommending a visit. Ours a large group on a lunch visit, all left happy.
Myall Lakes is aeautiful area to camp between Brisbane and Sydney. The sunset over the lake is gorgeous.
Go here to have lunch, Elisabeth beach, great place to see whales & dolphins when they are about. Nice to walk the beach on a fine day. Quite sheltered, patrolled during school holidays & is generally pretty safe even when not. Kev.
There are just so many places to see around Myall Lakes area. It also means that you can visit the Lake or the beaches, it doesn't stop there as there are walks, beaches, lookouts, eateries, kayaking, canoeing, boating and more. Apparently some other places rent out house boats. One of the best places north of Newcastle and Sydney to spend time exploring.
Didn't manage to get there GPS lead me up a road that was no way possible to drive on and get to designation.
RUDE staff - Camp fires outlawed - Bigotry coments about male groups - more then two males is a problem - Pizza - the oil is dripping of it
We were on our honeymoon, on a house boat on the Myall Lakes. So peaceful and beautiful surrounded by forest.
Well worth a visit. Lakes one side and beaches the other. National Parks campgrounds and NRMA campground available for extended stays. How's the serenity.
Never again, the toilets were disgusting and the mosquitos even worse.
For the cost of the place the campgrounds they could do with some mosquito control and more than one set of toilets between two campgrounds.
Stayed at Johnson's beach. Only accessible by boat. Rangers cleaned the drop toilets daily. Great spot to stay. Will stay again
Breathtaking scenery everywhere you go, plenty of camping options and you can have a fire place in most which always adds to the charm. Put this place on your must see list
Canoe trip for 3 nights, great paddling, campsites nice and to ourselves. Plenty of mozzies at night of course, barely saw a fish in the water but other wildlife about.
One of the best places I've ever been too, absolute stunning scenery, mungo brush campground is also great and would give more than five stars if I could
Only to wake up to what turned out a expencieve night for a self contained vehicle the web site only mentioned a $8.00 fee per day per vehicle, when the rangers came in the morning we were charged with a additional $ 12.00 fee per adult. With the excuse that they can't undercut the caravanparks wich was $78 p/n powered site. What a load of BS
Favourite campground. Some facilities are aged and in need of updating but the site is fantastic, spacious and close (15 min drive) to the local town shops, right next to the lake and only several minutes' walk from beach opposite. Highly recommended.
Ein schöner abgelegener National Park mit Camping Möglichkeiten. Liegt wunderbar im Windschatten und ist nicht so von Touristen überrannt.
A really lovely place. Has compost toilets and many spots to tent. BYO drinking water. There are BBQ facilities. Look out for so much beautiful wild life.
Excellent campsite with facilites everywhere. The hiking tracks are well worn and you won’t get lost. Try out the kayaking there; you won’t be disappointed. Many attractions in the area. Fishing here is also productive during the season.
Beautiful park, amazing nature, very diverse with the lakes, ocean beaches, rainforest,
I absolutely loved the walking trails such as the Mungo Rainforest walk and the one to Dark Point, where you get really breathtaking views!
Amazing place to relax for a getaway camping weekend. The lake is just magic and swimming is so good. Please be respectful of others camping in the area by cleaning after yourself and keep your music volume low. This is a quiet spot inythr nature where people go to enjoy the sounds of mother earth
