Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie reviews
52Lovely referb and good exhibits. Cafe is beautiful and overlooks the lake. I would be great if the cafe also did lunch type meals
Gallery has been beautifully renovated. The current exhibitions are interesting and well curated. Always impressed to see what local HCS students are doing The cafe is well situated but I was a bit put out I couldn't have just one scone. I had to have two or none. I chose none!
We had a great couple hours doing craft today. Very engaging for my 3 children and ourselves. Then went to explore the gallery and Wow! Some incredible work there will Def be back
Wonderful exhibition. Love the renovations and refurbishments, including the new cafe space, and a lovely space overlooking the park and water.
The exhibitions are well worth seeing, a handy cafe and tranquil setting with easy parking. What's not to like!
Beautiful art gallery with gift shop and cafe set in picturesque grounds with lovely views of Lake Macquarie. Easy parking
Very nice place to spend an hour or two. A lot of high quality art on display. As others have mentioned the gallery isn't very large. Still worth visiting if you are in the area.
The revised venue is a very good place to display contemporary art.it is a pity it is not a little bigger, as most of the space is foyer and cafe.
Great location, interesting collection.
Just you may expect to see more, but it's not a big gallery. Recommand to have a visit with you friends, enjoy the museum, take a seat and have a coffee there.
A great place to contemplate great art, relax, have brunch, high tea or wine and dine enjoying the fabulous lake views and tranquil ambience.
Beautiful gallery with interactive space and a great location by the lake with a parkland to wander before or after your gallery experience.
The cafe did burn down last week (August 2019) so be prepared to get coffee elsewhere for a while.
Great place for having a nice coffee with friends. The architecture of the art gallery is very interesting, modern shapes with perfect illumination.
Artwork I visited I found it very unique and interesting too. It’s a good place to be inspired in.
Will visit next time for sure! ️
