The transaction of buying a new property between Murray K agency and us was so easy and simple. Murray kept us in the loop all the way by text messages and calls, he kept a friendly (mateship) mannerism throughout the process. I highly recommend purchasing your next property or even renting your current properties through him.

Unfortunately my experience with this business as a managing agent left much to be desired. As it was my first time leasing a property I searched around for an agent who made me feel the most comfortable and the most confident. Ultimately making the decision to go with Murray Kennedy based on this even though they charged the highest commission out of all of the agents I had enquired with. The initial process selecting a tenant was great and I got a good outcome out of this. However when questioning some details regarding our contract I was unfortunately met with arrogance and my dispute disregarded, because what would I know, I haven't had 25 years experience as a managing agent. I contacted a lawyer and explained my concerns, who provided me evidence from fair trading that what I was questioning was right. The issue was raised again with the agent and was again denied and I was told this was wrong. This was very disappointing as I felt the agent I paid for was working against me to the benefit of the tenant only and not create a fair middle ground. After a conversation with the director of Murray Kennedy who was very understanding and professional it seemed we had come to agreement and I was happy with this outcome. Shortly after the conversation the managing agent went directly to the tenant and told them to refuse my requests (Completely against the discussion I had with the director). I backed down as I was still happy with the tenant that had been accepted for the property. Months later I decided to change managing agent as I didn't feel I was getting the "top tier/ premium service" value out of this agent and I had lost all trust with my agent. Thankfully I met with the tenants shortly after and asked how the property has been going, they advised me of a few small issues with the property that I was unaware of. They asked the agent numerous times to contact me to get these issues rectified but they were never passed on. I can only assume in an effort to taint my reputation and make me out as a landlord who didn't want to fix anything. Extremely disappointing and frustrating given everything else about this business had been positive.

Excellent results in such a short time!
I first met Jamie when he was door knocking offering appraisals. Our family was considering moving so thought, ‘yeh, why not’.
Jamie has religiously sent updated market research so we knew what was happening in the area.
When the time came (nearly 3 years later) for us to sell he was the person I called and couldn’t have been happier with the decision.
Jamie’ s communication is spot on, he has kept us in the loop every step of the way. He has a very honest and down to earth approach, which we appreciated.

We put an offer for a property on Saturday and was told that they will get back to me but no communication from their side. I had to ring them back on Monday only to find out that they accepted lower offer than ours. Disgusted.

2.5 hours? Are you serious? Stop lying mate. I got the call log saved on my phone. Jade first called me at 2: 46 pm on Saturday and I clearly asked her if she can call me in an hour so that I can talk to my wife and give exact number for that property. She agreed but she didn’t call me that is why I called her back at 4: 07 pm and put my revised offer forward. She said she will get back to me but she didn’t. As a FHB, I don’t know how thing works. So I just waited for that call which was promised. If I was given a deadline to put an offer then I would have definitely made a move instead of waiting. When I called you guys to find out the status of my offer on Monday, Jade and you even told me over the phone conversation that you didn’t want to go back and forth for extra $1000 and accepted the offer lower than I offered which I think is quite unprofessional as a realtor. That is how you get maximum for your vendors. Who knows I might have gone extra $5000. Instead of calling me like other realtors do, you guys assumed that I changed my mind or I bought another property. My wife and I thought we finally found a property that we both liked after 3 months long search but we missed out because of your lack of communication. My advice for you is stop assuming and blaming others and own your mistakes and move on mate. ️

I dealt with Jamie in regards to 2 properties, my offer wasn't accepted by the first vendors but Jamie went above and beyond to stay in touch and offer similar properties within my price range. His response time is extremely quick and contacts me back as soon as he can.
