Mudgee's Getaway Cottages

We had the best time staying here, people were lovely and spectacular location, beautiful getaway on quiet river but right in town too!

What an amazing place! We live in the Central West and have been to Mudgee many times before - somehow we only just found this gem.

This place is a godsend for families with young kids. Our 2.5 year old was beyond thrilled with the animals, the gardens, and the play areas. Hours of fun for the entire family, and easy walking distance to the CBD.  The Orchard Cottage had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious for our family.

Elizabeth and her team are so easy to get on with. She is beyond accomodating and takes the time to really connect with her guests. Elizabeth has truly thought of everything, and her attention to detail in looking after her guests is incredible.

I think some people may look over this place when they see that you need to call or email them about dates and pricing. Do not be shy - pick up the phone and give them a call. It is so worth your while, and you will not be disappointed!

Our stay was just what we needed! Our little cottage was so comfortable and the view over the property from our expansive deck a delight to the eyes and the spirit. Oh the serenity!

Stunning beautiful property, we had an amazing stay for the week with family. The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. The kids loved it and didn't want to leave the bunnies. Great base to explore Mudgee and the wineries and beautiful walks too.

Had a wonderful visit to Getaway Cottages in Mudgee, exceeded all expectations, our two young children spent so much time outdoors, meeting the animals, riding the bikes provided and enjoying the open space! The location and accommodation were first class, everyone had a great time, our thanks to Liz, Gary and all the team at Getaway Cottages for a wonderful weekend
