Do not rent with mountview. They consider mowed lawns unmowed, water leaks from heavy rains to be fixed by tenant, mountview rentals do not realise a house lived in will have basic wear and some dust, they expect to have a home returned in brand new condition although its been lived in for over 4 yrs? ! You dont deal with 1 person but many, so when something is reported, staff go by ', i dont know' and ' i will check records', and just brush you off! Lastly a crack in sliding door although reported many times due to poor construction deem your reports unacceptable and wants you to pay as the tenant
As the tenant, they expect you to pay for electricity and water used by landscapers/fencers of neighbours and not be reimbursed.apparantly, it's my problem? !
Always take photos. Record everything on paper. Even record dates and times of inspections as they dont communicate to indicate whats been requested during regular inspections more than 12 months!
Still waiting for return of my bond its been nearly 6 weeks.
