Morton - Crows Nest

Renting apartment from across the Pacific Ocean is an intimidating prospect, but after finding a place that suited me, Kimberley from Morton made it a nearly painless process. Thanks!

Update 2022: I'm in the same apartment with a new property manager at Morton, Amit. He has continued to be super helpful and responsive. Would absolutely rent a different apartment from the same office!

After chasing my agent for hours on move in day, I finally got handed the keys with a broken garage remote control, told ‘you can go and get it fixed and send us the receipt’.
I had issues already with payment bouncing due to incompatible systems, and was told ‘i will look into it and get back to you’ (and never got another response from the agent, only automated emails from his account asking for more extra fees).
I then went to the property and found it had not been cleaned (crumbs in the cupboards, dead bugs in the hallway). After two weeks of inaction (I was living elsewhere), I cleaned it myself. The dishwasher also leaked, with no action for another 2 weeks, I ended up fixing it myself. Then, the letterbox jammed and again, no action.
Throughly unimpressed with Mortons handling of the situation, both on my behalf and on behalf of the owner.
The saving grace is Amit from finance, who is now working to resolve these issues with me and being a great help.

Chloe was an excellent Property Manager, very prompt to respond and resolve any issues with the property. Friendly staff at the front desk.

Joseph and Amit have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Both are wonderful at communicating with speedy responses via email/text and you are never left with unanswered questions.

Joseph showed genuine care with my rental search and was incredibly kind making sure I was updated at all times with necessary details.
