Mingara Recreation Club

Great service and friendly staff. The food was of adequate standards. The steak was well done which suited my fortè. Efficient staff would always answer any requests as soon as possible.

Huge leisure club with fitness spaces but also it is a club for restaurants and pokies.
Check in staff made the process pretty seamless. We ate at indigo restaurant (there are 4 eateries) and enjoyed a steak, chicken and a freshly baked bread. Food was lovely and not too pricy. Be sure to book though because they have limits due to Covid.

Not happy with the service in the roasted berry or lunch but had to ask staff 3 times for our drinks, this is not the first time. Other than that the club in good.

Wonderful. Professional and fair prices. Very knowledgable and extremely professional.but some of the vets need to improve their bed side manner and interaction with the public as some 8ndividual vets can be extremely unfriendly. Uncaring. Rude and inappropriate.otherwise tony and his vet nurse staff are top notch.couldn6 ask for better.

Mingara foyer is stunning.friendly staff.i do not like the food there.it needs to be upgraded.the cakes in The Roasted Berry are an exception.awsome choice and hard to resist

I can tell this place had lots of poker machines by the outside looks. So much money spent on this place. A shame it's on the backs of problem gamblers. Fantastic facilities. Very bitter sweet.

Well on Tuesday we went to The Roasted Berry and I ordered eggs Benedict with ham and mushrooms. It was made with salmon on it. Ew.
Then the chick proceeded to remove the salmon with her hands then again using her fingers re adjusted my egg on the toast with sauce all over her fingers I was absolutely disgusted. Then she went to give me the plate and says there you go is that better. Um NO. Filth. Then they made me another one.

Went today to have a look around. Club is GREAT! Had lunch at the Indigo bistro. Lovely food, really nice. I personally thanked the chef for the lovely food The waitresses were exceptional. As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed and welcomed. THANKS AGAIN CHEF. YOU MAKE LOVELY FOOD. Great club!

Great place for having dinner, but also there’s usually a black nissan parked by the bush and he sells cigs and bud to minors his names bit dobbo, his number plate also says dobbo he’s a sick lad

Great Chinese restaurant inside the club. Cafe coffee and food is good but on busy days a 45 minute wait for a heated piece of quiche was way too long. Needs more staff on special event days.

Very clean. Very friendly and attentive staff. Decent atmosphere regarding music and layout.

Pretty good value for what you get in a membership.

Alcohol is decently priced.

Food which is always a big reason to come to these places is a tad below average. The chips are absolutely amazing - old school thick style thst reminds me of mum's. The chips alone are $9 while some fish or chicken with it is only a couple extra bucks and I can see why as they are the highlight of what inevitable amounts to a heap of greasy pub grub.

Avoid the sauce it's not great. The gravy is watered down and the tartar tastes like any other jar based sauce.

Ultimately not a bad feed If you have had a few but not quite as good as it could be.

Extensive gaming room and facilities that exceed in delivery of the experience gamblers may seek.

I'm employed by a Disability organisation which have their participant Christmas party at Mingara each year and it's always a great time. The function room is perfect, its reasonably priced and the staff are very accommodating.

Just love this place. Everything from family entertainment through to fitness for young and old. I love my Aqua class and Young at Heart. The swimming lessons for my grandchildren are fantastic. Their instructors are super organised and so good at their profession.
Those are just touching the surface of everything that provided by this community club.

Fantastic place. It's got poker machines. Not a lot more, loads of poker machines. I never put money into poker machines, you can't win in the long run. Have a beer instead and read the paper.
