Mingara Recreation Club

Mingara One is a very well-resourced gym with classes and activities to suit anyone. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Great club, friendly environment helpful staff. Tasty food, average prices for meals. Will definitely go back.

Very modern and convenient location. Staff are always friendly and haven't had a bad beer yet.
Only lost a star due to the whole venue being built around channeling every patron into the pokies.

My local club. I eat regularly at the roasted berry. Love the food and the great service. The ladies toilets are a pleasure to use (something you can't say about many places.)

An excellent club with multiple bars, cafe, bistro, restaurants, chinese restaurant, lawn bowls, Olympic pool under cover.

Sadly the Club has no lounge facilities or play area for children. Not a good place to meet family for drinks prior to dinner.

Went to cafe, nice Food, reasonable prices, clean and the smell of fresh cooked bread was wonderful on a cold day lol

Very impressed as soon as we walked in. The club has modern facilities and very friendly staff. Awesome meals with fast service from Indigo at reasonable prices. Even servicing us just as the kitchen was closing. Will definatley return next time we visit the area.

Great family club, plenty of choices to eat, plenty of activities for kids, there's a great aquatic centre and fitness gym, and the staff are helpful and courteous.

Arrived today as a visitor. The coffee, ambience and seating was fantastic at The Roasted Bean cafe. I was underwhelmed by the beef works burger in particular the beef patty (dry being my primary gripe). Chips were soft and flavourless. Hard to know whether to return it to the kitchen and ask for something else for the $27 spent or just to shrug it off and order something different next time. I chose the latter and pleased to say there will be a next time to try a steak sandwich or bacon and egg roll (the true test of a breakfast menu!)

Mingara is a great club.
A great coffee shop which has a good menu and open all day. Great gaming area if that is your thing. Dining room great. Also sports an excellent chinese restaurant, also with quick service take away with table service too.
I recommend!

Another Casino that calls itself a club.
I love this place, I really do. It’s open till 6am on weekends and a massive night on the robotic salary snatchers are guaranteed. But it’s 99% going to be a good night.
The staff are great (4 in the morning they get a bit short but I do to).
The food from any number of the grub-venues is usually amazing and the drinks are cold and flowing.
It’s clean and tidy with modern furnishings and facilities.
It’s still another casino.

Last night was the last time I waste money here. Both my mate and I worked all day and finally put kids to sleep so we could have a drink and game of pool to celebrate his 30th birthday. Get down to the sports bar quietly talking amongst ourselves waiting for a table, approach the bar for the first time to order a drink to be told by her I've already been served (which i hadn't) and have to wait because I'm sunburnt and too red. This is just one of the rude encounters I've had here over the 12 years attending Mingara. Staff at door are always lovely but once you get inside good luck. I will not drive a 60km round trip anymore to attend your club.

Poor form all round from staff member at the front desk.

Called prior to arriving to purchase from the liquor shop. Was told time was limited but that it was possible if at premises.

Collected liquor and was ready to make a transaction however was not served as front desk staff was signing-in patrons in favour of finalising sale, and there is no dedicated cashier.

Witnessed front desk staff member sign in and direct another customer to bottle shop, advising that it closes at 11pm. Then refuse to service the same customer as shop was closed. Then proceeded with the same message to us despite arriving and being prepared before 11.

I’d advise management look into their staff and train them in better communication, or hire the correct people.

I’ve never been so disappointed with service. Honestly pathetic.

Wasted the time of multiple parties tonight, leaving a bad impression of Mingara Rec Club for many.

Indigo restaurant now under new management but still using existing tired menu until new year.
Hoping for big improvement and consistency of food offering.

Boring is just another club
U asked for my response to this week I had the unfortanate experience of attending the business awards on Tuesday night where the meals came out 1/4 chicken and chilli salad
The salad 90 percent green leaves and chicken not even Lukewarm
Then we had a choice of pork or beef
I had the pork that was Luke warm about as big and wide as my thumb
Oh and again with all green salad the beef was a round clump that everyone that loved blood steak would have enjoyed it so many meals didn't get finished or even started
Then we thought maybe they could get dessert right choice between panacota and some tart they were let's say ok
The quality of the whole food experience at the awards one word disappointing

We are regular visitors to the swim centre. Love the whirlpool, staff are always friendly. Great squad trainers. Facilities are spotless.
