They provided me a wrong information regarding my car when I went for rego check and tried to charge me 1200$ then I took my car for maintenance at Honda showroom at Artarmon where the technical team didn’t find any fault in My car. I suggest other not to go there.

I had previously rated this business 5 stars. Unfortunately a change in management has led to a huge decline in quality. I paid for a Comprehensive Service for my recent check up, but it was clear afterwards that nothing had been done to my car. The vehicle odometer was unchanged, the oil clearly not changed, the windscreen fluid not replaced. I specifically asked for the brakes to be checked - the manager said they’re fine but they still squeak and are slow, clearly I need new brake pads. I guess they at least gave me a $600 air freshener?
To top it off, they took 5 hours longer than promised and kept me waiting an hour in their waiting room while serving other customers.

I called up in the morning looking for a pink slip check and they were available! I drove by, quick and easy paperwork, service with a smile! Location is about 10 min walk to Chatswood, where you can kill the 40mins easily. Came back and it was ready to go - no fuss. Great experience!

Booked in a pink slip and when I arrived was advised that someone else had just driven up and wanted a pick slip (no booking) so I was told to come back later that day even though I had the booking. When I advised that I was unable to wait for over an hour they sent me away. Terrible customer service!

Couldn’t give a lower recommendation. Charged an incredible amount of money for repairs, every repair had an issue within two days of collecting the car. Really untrustworthy and incompetent team.

As a young female, going to the mechanic can be a nightmare, but not here. Alan and the entire team at Midas Chatswood are exceptional. I have used this mechanic multiple times and have always had wonderful customer service, thoughtful, timely advice.and a great price. I cannot recommend the team here highly enough.

Went in for rego check and service and was happy and comfortable. They were very friendly and non-judgemental. Everything was explained to me well in advance. All work seemed thorough, reasonable and fairly priced. Had my air filters changed, and they actually showed me the old ones so I could see how bad they were. I knew they'd never been changed, and always forget to mention it. Guess my previous mechanic didn't check.

Want to offer a sincere thank you to the team at Midas Chatswood. After being quoted an exorbitant amount by Alto Motors Artamon to change the front brakes on my Skoda Superb 206tsi, I did the ring around and was quoted by Midas Chatswood almost half what they were going to charge me at Skoda. The service was well explained and they fitted me in immediately. When they weren’t able to get the originally quoted Bendix brake pads and rotors, they sourced the more expensive (and frankly better) Brembo parts and called to let me know. When I enquired if this would be more than the original quote they said that they would honour the original quote and fit the more expensive parts.

Clear communication, friendly customer service and willingness to go the extra mile (pardon the pun). I will definitely be taking my car here in future.

I go here every year for my pink slip. The service is excellent and it only ever takes 30 minutes.

I got a regular service done 3 weeks ago which was fine and the guys were friendly. But I also needed a quote for a dent on my car as the guy who crashed into me is being quite difficult. Now 3 weeks has gone by and I have followed it up asking what happened with the quote. Louis answered and told me to text him photos which I did straight away. Still haven’t heard anything back from anyone. This is quite frustrating as this has set me back even further from getting my car fixed from the accident I was in. Disappointed as it seems they pick and choose the jobs they want to do. Won’t be going here again…

They are nothing but a Con. Who will fleece you by either by threatening or lying. Do your self a favour and stay away from them.

If you get the feeling you are being conned, it is probably because you are. They will lure you in with a cheap service and make sure you don't leave without paying more.

As an example I was charged about $200 for serpentine belt that is on Repco for about $60 and keep in mind labour is listed separately on the bill. I was able to check because they had the product code for the belt on the bill. I have no doubt there were even more places that nabbed a bit more.

I even tried contacting the Midas head office about this blatant scamming and nothing but radio silence. I recommend finding an independent mechanic with good reviews, there listed prices will be more but they won't be looking to con you where they can.

Ace is a very reliable mechanic. I have been with
Midas for 10 years and have always been given excellent service. Highly recommend
