This location overlooking the surf beach is sensational. We had pasta for our main and the cheese plate from the dessert menu, both were excellent.

Great location indeed doesn’t compensate for less than average pizza. Bought 5 different ones with a friend after a swim at baths. Thought that the cook stood at the end of the hall and threw the ingredients onto the pizzas. All cheese. No thanks again. Friendly girl on the register took order but I will go elsewhere next time.

Special night out for 8. Wonderful view. Modern food and atmosphere. Great acoustics for a place with hard surfaces and glass. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Went there last weekend for brekky around 9am to the takeaway cafe on the left (not the eat in cafe).
Ordered 2 bacon and egg turkish rolls and 2 regular cappucinos for about $30, which I thought was quite expensive but whatever. Coffees came out and they were okay, nothing special but okay. Bacon and egg turkish rolls came out and oh my god, for $10 each were they pathetic.
The turkish roll was really yum, and it came with 2 eggs, however both rolls received only a single rasher of bacon which were about 40% rind and only covered maybe 2/3rds of the roll. Very disappointed, especially considering the premium price paid.

Great atmosphere. Amazing location.
But, the coffee is bad!
Pablo and Rusty’s should be very disappointed to supply these guys coffee beans. It goes to show that you can have great beans but still butcher coffee and make it taste bad!

The baristas need significant training. Then all will be good!

Great food either side you dine. There is the restaurant side: steak, seafood etc. The other left side: is Italian which is less formal. Brilliant Ocean views.

1 hour 40 minute wait for underwhelming pizza. We came to the Kiosk at a time where the line was small so thought that it would be okay. At no point did the server mention that it would be a nearly TWO HOUR WAIT. By 8pm we were starving and was informed that it would be “another 10 minutes”. We had already been waiting over 1.5 hours by this stage.
20 minutes later we finally left with tepid pizza.
Avoid this place.

Excellent place! We took just bar food, but Flathead was very juice and tasty. The dip plate was fantastic, herbs and cheese slices with caviar dip. The service was also great, so love this place and will come back again.

Went to the southern end of the beach for one of my best mates wedding. Great afternoon had by all & very picturesque for photos

Great prices, best view in Newcastle.
Garlic bread with herbs, is a pizza style garlic bread. $8 and was incredible, went down a treat with a coupla beverages.

Had dinner on Saturday night with another couple great venue great table at the window. The service was excellent attentive friendly and efficient, but sadly the food was appalling the gnocchi was like chewing rubber balls with a mushroom like gravy sauce that was not edible. The pasta dish sounded good on the menu but didn't deliver on flavour and the duck was disappointing. We had desserts which again sounded good but were dry and tasteless. I have spoken to a few people since they have all said the same thing good place, terrible food. Will not go back.

The food served up was absolutely delicious the steak cooked to perfection as was the pork and the service provided by the restraunt manager to fit us in when booked out was going beyond and she deserves all the credit along with the table staff and cooks will definitely return and recommend to friends

Only had a pizza here this time but it was served exceptionally fast without any mistakes. The pizzas were delicious, especially the bbq chicken pizza. Good value for money as well.

Cool place to have a meal or a drink at the beach. Pizza at the kiosk, casual dining at the cafe, formal upstairs in the restaurant

Gosh, everything we loved about this place: food was amazing, fresh and tasty. We ordered freshly baked flat bread with some sort of dip then fish and chips. The veranda ocean view is overwhelming. And the great service as well. We didn't have to wait, it matters when you are as hungry as we were.

Some of the worst pizzas for the longest wait that I've ever experienced. When the pizzas finally arrived, they were mostly wrong. But hey at least an extra pizza showed up that we didn't order.

Benefit of the doubt: it was a holiday weekend.

We went for breakfast this morning. Honestly the corn cakes were under cooked the bacon reheated and the poached egg was hard boiled. The coffee is amazing. We will only be back for coffee and the view

The overall experience was far from average.service took ages, it was quite hot inside and the options in the menu wasn't quite inspiring for such a high price tag.some of the dishes like the rump was pretty good, but other ones were just tasteless.the view is amazing, but doesn't make it up for the rest.

Had such a good time! Beautiful weather, music and drinks. Got a little burnt by losing time with my love!
