39Their support is very rude in general and have no idea what is going on! I am an IT pro myself and every time I have to explain things 10 times for them to understand how their system is working. They cannot resolve a simple account access issue. DO NOT recommended at all.
I called up and was immediately asked "how do you relate to (account holder's name) ? " Privacy Laws are important, people.
Rang more than 10 times in a single day, every single call was hung up on hold each time.staff are overseas and rude.
The worst company i have ever had to deal with. Its actually to the stage i laugh at every email i receive.
I set up my hosting for a monthly renewal @ $30 / month (expensive) in December 2018.
In Feburary 2019 the website went down due to unpaid bill, upon hours of following up with the illiterates that work there i discovered they attempted to charged $5500 for 5 years hosting ($91 / Month)
HOW? WHY? No idea
Then i got onto a manager who assured they would fix it and bill the correct $30 a month, a few days later i got a receipt of payment of $300 for 3 months ($99 / month).
But the real kicker, website still not live!
Have a website backup thank the lord because they wont let you download a copy unless its live hosting? Even though ive paid.
Going to change companies and do a credit card charge back, Adios you fraudulent company.
I've used Melbourne IT for near on 20 years. They provide a good service, their support when needed is friendly and helpful, and they have a sound reputuation for security!
When trying to connect Outlook to Exchange it times out, the Philippine tech support team says there is nothing wrong. When I asked for the mail server, they had no idea what I was talking about and kept referring to SMTP for 5 times in a row. Amateurish and pathetic service.
Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Every time something goes wrong it takes hours on the phone getting transferred from person to person, and usually the issue does not get fixed. Absolutely terrible.
Don't register domains through their domain registration service. When it expires they will charge you $169 to renew compared to $24 that most domain registration businesses charge. They are living in the past, a time when it was normal to charge ridiculous rates to register domains. Wakey wakey Melbourne IT, its 2018 and you're an internet dinosaur.
Can't give less stars. Terrible experience. I never leave bad reviews but these guys truly earned it.

Melbourne IT have no affiliation with Australia other than the name “Melbourne”.
No local support. Unethical. And basically theft though unauthorised charging for services not requested.
As the MD is affiliated with Optus, I will be cancelling my Optus account as soon as contract is expired also.
They really are very, well, terrible, as I would not be able to write what I really think of these corporate Theives.

I got caught with these twits a couple of years ago - got a domain name for $150AUD when I could have got it elsewhere for $15. Got in touch with them to discuss and got the worst customer service - they had no idea what they were talking about, they were going to cancel my domain name without refunding me. Go anywhere else.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Support none existent, bunch of useless puppets reading from a script without a clue.
Run away as fast as you can!
Keep away, they haven t got a clue, a call centre with people that do not understand the issues you are having, no one can give a definative answer, if you can find anyone else to host your organisation go there, these people are a bad joke, they are costing you valuable time and money, and, have no idea as to customer service, i dont give them one star but the review wont work otherwise, a big fat zero from me
A terrible hosting company. The support is a bad joke. The sales dept is the only one that actually kind of helps. I would not recommend this company at all if you want to stay worry free!
Tried to call for help and was number 25 in the queue. Been trying to get a password reset for 4 days now.
This organisation is a totally useless, unco-operative, arrogant and incompetent bunch of maybe's if couldbe's.
Only bad review I have ever given, but damn they have the worst customer service centre I have ever encountered. Completely incompetent. Can not carry out even the most simplest of tasks.
If I could give this bunch of clowns no stars I would. Do yourself a very big favour go SOMEWHERE ELSE NOW. They have stuff my web site up for two yrs and still have not fix it properly. After countless call to Pakistan lol what a joke you ppl are.
Very poor customer service, no responses to emails, no follow up, long call wait times (to an off shore call centre), no accountability, no care, no consideration. I have never come across such a poorly run company.
I'd be happier dealing with an Indian scammer pretending to be the ATO.
