My husband and I went to inspect a property through McGrath Surry hills and we were running late with traffic 20 minutes over time and the agent Richie offered to stay back for us which was super kind. Ended up applying the next day on a Sunday and by Monday we got a call around 2pm confirming our successful application! We were so beyond the moon and Richie was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process and also called during the day to inform us that our information was being reviewed by the property owner etc.

The property we inspected was clean and presented well.

I recently experienced McGrath’s fabulous customer service when out inspecting an apartment. A special shout out to Sam Sabine whose professionalism and timely responses to queries were impressive. The inspection itself was steered in a professional manner, allowing all the freedom to explore/inspect on their own. Sam was friendly and made me (and others, I’m sure) feel welcome. The application process that ensued was smooth and I was kept informed of the progress - this made me feel at ease knowing that my application was in good hands. He arranged the complete refurbishment of my unit in a short time and to a high standard and secured an excellent tenant at a very favourable rate. Incredibly professional, personable and responsive real estate agency to deal with. Sam Sabine went out of his way to help us secure a rental property for our interstate relocation up to Sydney, including arranging a FaceTime inspection and separate viewing to take measurements. We were incredibly anxious about being able to find a suitable rental property from interstate, but Sam really helped put us at ease, making the process as seamless and stress-free as possible. Given the high levels of competition in the Sydney rental market, we did not expect this truly outstanding level of customer service. Highly recommend.

Probably the worst real estate agency in Australia. They leased us an apartment in atrocious condition, infested with cockroaches, and then used us to clean up the apartment (it took months of daily follow up to get things done). They sent a tradesperson in who sent us violent threats. Then, just when the apartment was getting to liveable standard, they snuck in while one of us was in hospital and re-leased the apartment to someone else. Unscrupulous, dishonest, and cruel.
