McDonald Jones Stadium reviews
55 I just love it.
Super organised, easy and fast access.
You have some food shops
The drinks are on the expensive side.
The toilets are tidy and clean.
Jets games are reasonably priced and parking was only an additional $10 online. I would arrive early however and the road in front gets busy quickly!
Nice and simple stadium. Lot of street parking in the vicinity to the stadium and you could also book parking inside the premises. We went to see the tri nation match between the All Blacks and The Pumas. Great evening.
Carpark needs to be redone very rough and uneven lines not easy to see for parking bays, the ground and stadium look great
A great venue but there was not much signage to tell the people where certain sections were and the carpark was a bit hard to get out off after the match was over.
PA system unimaginably and hurtfully LOUD, silent only during most play. You cannot talk to your mates & people around you. Spoils the footy.
Home of the Mighty Knights. Went for Knights season launch family fun day. Despite the rain still a great day had by all
To get into the ground it could be a bit cheaper
but other than that not a bad stadium
Lot of places to get something to eat & or drink
Always clean and looked after, the food services and variety has improved and is good, it has a good atmosphere. Up the Jetties! ️
Good stadium, clean, well looked after, easy to navigate. Biggest criticism; Not much in the way of good food and drinks, classic (but not in a good way) burgers, fries and drink selection.
Good stadium.plenty of parking around.the stadium as.well. Not a difficult place to leave even in the biggest of crowds
We used to watch soccer matches here, not very often but there was no issue to worry. Used to participate in car boot sale here many years ago, there were fine as well.
One of the best places to watch rugby league in Australia. Slightly dated features in some areas, but a great experience
Great stadium to watch soccer or league. Great coffee and lots of food to choice from. The chips with different sauces and cheese on them are to die for
Its good. But could be better. Toilets are a shambles, no privacy. Sitting on the east side you cop a face full of sun. The 'Wests' big screen is in need of an upgrade. Loads of discoloured pixels and so small compared to the other bigscreen, spent half my time looking at the opposite screen. Apart from that all good. Getting in and to your seats is easy and getting out it a breeze is you didn't drive.
Love the Knights team. Huge attended of KNIGHTS fans which adds to the excitement of the game. Large choice of seats and prices. Really helpful and freindly staff. Can buy meals soft drinks and alcohol. All so you can take your own meals, cans of soft drink snacks.
The seating at this stadium is exceptionally priced, provided you buy before match day you can have your pick of a seat and all for a good price. The field has had its ups and downs but is generally aesthetically pleasing. The security and ticket staff are consistently nice and helpful
Turned up to the stadium not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The layout was fantastic for getting in and out. There were toilets and food outlets all within easy access of our seating. I was worried about our tickets and found that access was easy and seeing the action was great. Even for my young daughter who is short, she could easily see over the people in front. A great experience.
Fabulous Facility to watch my Newcastle Jets in action, tough season to begin but watching them at home has been more than enjoyable. Getting to watch Newcastle at the Grand Final in May was a treat considering the entertainment was fabulous, can't ask for anything more than a stadium like this, just hope renovations will soon go into actions to make this stadium even better. (if it gets picked for a 2023 Australia Women's World Cup Stadium)
Great facilities but expensive takeaway food. Eat before you go in. Great places around the area.
Churos really expensive but make sure you purchase tickets there at the grandstand.it's cheaper than online. If it's a one off game. If you purchase a seasonal family tickets to a Jets game. It's cheaper. But you must attend every game. Facilities great!
Four stars.
