Forget the rest VW McCarrolls Waitara is the best. No sleazy salesmen here. I Did a great deal on my New Golf R 7.5. All the staff were great, made the experience a joy. In particular Jessica Gradden. From the first time I spoke to Jessica to now we have become great friends. Jessica, her Sales Manager the other Reps and the Service Manager are top flight. The admin staff will look after you too with a smile. It can be daunting buying a Car but with Jessica Gradden its a pleasure. NO request was too hard or impossible with Jessica. Thank you McCarrolls VW:) Update 14/12/23. It’s been six years since purchase and I can’t be happier with the service centre. Reliable Golf R and the staff have given me great personal service. I have 90,000 kms on the clock. The new service centre has undercover parking great for hot days ️️️️️

At service time, they "checked the brakes" but failed to tell us that the brake pads were worn down and would need replacing. The result was damage to braking system and costly repair. I will NEVER use McCarroll's for service or repair. They were also highly unprofessional. Go to another dealer.

Serviced my car at McCarroll's. Received stellar customer service from Shannon McGhee in the Service Team and also throughout the dealership, even whilst browsing and waiting.

I had my Touareg in to the service department at McCarroll’s Volkswagen for its 3rd annual service. This is one of numerous occasions that I have had the pleasure of dealing with the service department. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. My car was returned to me on time and had been washed and vacuumed. Yet again a great experience!

Really smooth process at the service team. Rohan served me and made it super easy. Provided quality updates on the progress on my car. The only minor adjustment I’d ask for is a little more of a run through on the R. O and what was done to my car. To be fair it was late. So no complaints! Will be back for sure.

Picked up my first Volkswagen Golf R from here. The service from Annie and Robbie surprised me more the car, super friendly helpful, it’s just the different experience for me. Will tell all my family and friends.

The best service since I have moved in the area. Highly recommended. 3 years in a row they have serviced my VW Golf with outstanding customer service. 10/10.

Should have told customer that the customer car need a timing belt changed on the phone when customer make booking. So the customer can prepare the money and the time, as timing belt required more services time. I was told that i may need to make another booking for the timing belt. As they may not have the time to finish it within one day. Surprisingly i was informed the car service and timing belt have finished around 3 pm.

Second, when picking the car back, saw the brake pad only have 3mm. And was told that the brake pad should have changed to a new one, but somehow the workshop did not do it. I may need to come back soon, how depressing.

Base on the above, the service department have no idea what they are doing.and totally no quality control.
This is not the first time, i experience very bad service here. I think i will sure try vw Chatswood next time.

It was excellent service. All issues in my car have fixed with reasonable price. And the people there are very friendly.

In a world where customer service has given way to faceless, frustrating attempts to reach a human being, I was very pleasantly surprised by my recent experience at VW McCarrolls Service. Shannon was excellent and greeted me the moment I drove up, took down the information and provided and estimate when the service will be completed and it was completed on time. My car was thoroughly washed and cleaned from inside too! It was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was friendly and actually seemed to enjoy their job.really great experience.

Service department is a joke. I authorised some repairs and they then tried to charge me 20% more. My recommendation - don’t service your car here.

Don’t bother complaining to Volkswagen either you’re wasting your time.

Service was good but my invoice paperwork had some errors, wrong address and car model. Didn’t notice until I got home. Called to have this rectified and waiting for updated paperwork to be sent via email.

Great overall experience. Annie provided friendly assistance during our purchase. Looked after all details and promptly had any points or questions answered and looked after. Smooth and pleasant, no pressure atmosphere through to purchase. Thank you Annie and the team at McCarroll's - appreciate your helpfulness and professionalism very much.

The service department are a combination of inept and a complete rip off. Over many years I’ve had car keys misplaced, completely unnecessary brake disc rotors quoted (refused with many years more use afterwards) and cars damaged. They openly talk about their weekly sales targets in the earshot of waiting customers and the so called ‘service advisers’ don’t seem to be able to communicate the simplest messages to people that actually know about motor cars.

Even for warranty work I would recommend AGAINST McCarrolls for any servicing.
