Absolutely amazing place to stay. I booked this in as a surprise for my partner as she had been working so hard for so long (being in the health industry during COVID has been tiring) - she absolutely loved and so did I, we had every plan to explore the grounds and honestly spent almost 48 hours in the Jacuzzi. We did walk to the look out and that was amazing. I let the owners know that it was a surprise and they went out of their way to make it just that extra bit special, chocolates, local cider and arguably the cleanest place we have ever stayed which is odd considering this place is smack bang in the middle of a forest. Props to the cleaner.

Amazing service and communication. Amazing place. And we will definitely be going back for a more exploratory holiday to see all the great things the grounds have to offer.

Stayed at the Manor House with the family of 10 people. Interior decor was relaxing and very well equipped kitchen, had everything really. Beautiful wrapped around verandah with cosy seating for all. Happy to just sit and enjoy the gum trees. Surprise visits by the locals typically in the mornings. Cockatoo, rosellas and more.

We had a lovely stay at the Artist's Lodge. It was very tranquil, peaceful and secluded while close enough to small towns in the area. The welcome setup with chocolates and wine was a nice touch, with everything neat and clean. The kitchen was well equipped as well.

I have stayed at the Maya Sanctuary twice, and on both occasions I have had the most amazing experiences. The Maya Sanctuary offers more than just a standard break from the hustle and bustle. Julian and Andre from Maya Sanctuary hosted my family up at Illowra house over the weekend. The property was amazing from the house itself to the pristine views of the valley and various different walks on the property.

Stunning property, beautiful wilderness all around, gorgeous rooms, comfortable accommodation, with lovely personal touches. Julian and Andre are doing an amazing job. Make sure to check out the creek with swimming holes, the flowering meadows and the clifftop meditation spot at the end of the meadow. A little bit of paradise and all within easy reach of the city.

Yoga Retreat
I recently hosted a Yoga retreat here and it was absolutely fitting to the purpose and wellbeing of all. We booked the Illowra house and the decor from floor to ceiling is just so finely selected. I really appreciate simply observing this house we call home, inside and out.
Many walking tracks and what drew me in were the sounds of so many different bird species.
It is a honour to be the first to run a Yoga retreat here and it sure will be one to remember and kept dearly close to my heart.
Meeting Julian and Andre and the team really tied the experience up for us.

SVE is a great place to stay whether it's summer or winter. I've been here on my own and organised a large group - and everybody's been super accommodating.

5 stars all the way especially since I keep on coming back!

Such an awesome time sent in one of the beautiful cabins, great little fireplace with plenty of wood and an amazing hot tub with a wonderful view of the mountains.
Perfect location for a romantic getaway in beautiful surroundings, Julian and Andrea were perfect hosts.

Spent a delightful 4 days in the Victoria cottage. A great escape in amazing bushland setting just 2 hours from Sydney, and yet a world away. The cottage was impeccably maintained, and the outdoor spa on the verandah was just awesome looking out onto the bush landscape and under the stars at night - a great place to go for your Sydney escape

Top location, available and easy going service and incredible facilities. This is one of my favourite escapes in the world. Surrounded in bush, the sound of birds and clean fresh air we couldn't ask for any thing more relaxing. It is off the beaten track, meaning the serenity is divine. It rained most the time, but there was so much space and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! Thank you Secret Valley for hosting us. We hope to be back soon.

When you just want to get away from it all and find some peace, get back to nature and maybe do some eat pray love. This is the place to come. It has all the things you would need for your hideaway including walks around the property, jacuzzi, kitchen, fireplace and comfy bed. Your host are amazingly helpful but unintrusive.

Secret Valley Escape was a marvelous, serene and comfortable weekend away. Whether it was early morning or late afternoon the light changed the landscape making it feel alive.
We stayed in the Artist Lodge. Private, secluded and perfectly romantic.

An absolutely incredible place! I have not been this relaxed in a long time. The Artists Cottage was amazing, spent many hours relaxing in the hot tub and strolling around the property!

I cannot wait until I can be back again!

Secret Valley Escape was perfect for our weekend getaway as a couple. Private, serene, quiet, and plenty of space to explore if we wanted to go for a bush walk. We stayed in Sirius Cottage and felt very lucky as we had a lovely tree keeping us private and tucked away out of sight of the other cottages. We didn't leave the property for our stay and enjoyed the beautifully appointed room, just the right size for two, and BBQ on the deck. The spa under the stars was just right, as was the comfy bed and amazing shower. Washing under rainwater made my skin smooth and lovely and we were very reluctant to leave the simple luxury of the cottage. Thank you to hosts Julian and Andre for giving us exactly the right amount of information needed to check in and enjoy our stay, as well as respecting our privacy. Sunset up on the plateau was stunning and we feel very blessed to have stayed here. Spotting my first wombat and seeing kangaroos was also a bonus for this foreigner! Perfect for nature lovers or anyone just needing some r'n'r.

Only one thing make me really disappointing,
Where was mark the animals on the map, there are no animals. The alpacas' house is also dilapidated.

Secret valley escapes allow you to trade in your busy life for tranquility, and adventure. Explore the property, taking in the scenery and wildlife. Cuddle up by the fire or take a spa together. Delve into the surrounding towns. It is what you make it, it is whatever you need it to be. For myself, and my partner it was all of the above. We wanted the most out of our stay, and we got it! Adding to all that, the amazing hospitality of Julian. He was more than happy to accommodate us in our late check in and check out (due to busy work schedules). His friendly and welcoming nature made us feel comfortable in knowing our experience was going to be a great one! Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We will definitely be back soon!
