Master Granny Flats built my Granny flat close to four years ago. I was very happy with the construction. Their service and care after the job was completed is also very professional and quick. I have had a couple small issues which have occurred a year or two after the initial completion. The company was very quick to repair the issue under the warranty. Very happy with their overall service and communication.

I was sceptical at first paying quite a lot of money and don't know the quality of the final build. There were some issues along the way which is not unusual especially when I am a hard marker. Each time Master Granny Flat led by Robert and his lovely team has not only met but exceeded expectations. The quality of work, speed of the built, resolved non standard issues and quality house appliances etc is second to none. Actually Master Granny Flat build is "value for money". I will get them to build it again for me if I have the need and money.

From the beginning of inquiries, appointments were handled in professional ways. The people there were really know what they're doing, we went through a number of design reviews, changes here and there with no issues/hesitation, and from paperworks, approval, project preparation to the start of construction until the completion, all went very well, all minor issues had been handled in timely manner. The payments schedule were clearly specified during each stage, this was really helpful in managing our cash flows.

We made a huge mistake having our plans drawn up by another granny flat company and submitted to Council only to have them rejected. Our only wish is we had found Robert and his team six months earlier. Stephanie organised to have plans redrawn, submitted and passed in no time. Our contract was drawn up with every detail included and costed so there were no surprises on either side along the way. A team came and the groundwork was completed and our granny flat grew. Every step of the way our supervisor was contactable and even when we changed our minds on a couple of items midway through it was no problem. Even adding extra lights, power points etc the cost was not excessive. It was a pleasure doing business with you all. I would have no hesitation in using this company again in the future.

I am writing not just to recommend Master Granny Flats to the others. It’s hard to find words to express my appreciation for the owner Robert. He gave me a new life. I would like to share my story here:
I previously had an unlicensed granny flat builder (United Construction Partners) since September 2017. After I found out in July 2019, I had to find another builder. I contacted three granny flat builders. Robert of Master Granny Flats is the only builder to open his door to accept me. As I already paid too much to the previous builder, in order to save my money and continue finishing the building, Robert suggested for me to become an home owner-builder. He appointed his general manager Stephanie as my help support and offered all his subcontractors for me to use without any extra charge. I had no previous experience in home building. As a general rule, I quoted two tradesmen for each job. I found Master Granny Flats’ tradesmen were much more reliable & professional. They gave me lots of good advice and helpful tips. I would say if I became an home owner-builder again, it’s not worth the trouble to source out all the good tradesmen for one project. Instead, the good teams of Master Granny Flats subcontractors are well worth it. They made my life so much easier.
I would like to thank Robert and his whole team for all their help, especially Stephanie - good smart management; Dennny – my first contacted person who agreed to come & meet me on the same day, escalated my case & arranged my first appointment with the owner Robert right away. The building is now finally complete. I never would have been able to finish it off without their assistance.
