Professional consultation on building granny flat.if i build granny flats, definitely will use their service

They tried to push through a plan that was made with errors for my brother at Croydon park (YASSA). Be careful these guys are bunch of crooks. It took us so long to get the money back from them and they still had the nerve to keep $800 for no value whatsoever. They prey on people who are unfamiliar with construction process and make you do a down payment and only for you to find out later that council hasn't approved but it was intentionally made that way so its failed and they blame other people. The owner the Lebanese guy is absolute disgrace, totally unprofessional. If you look closely at this business your realised that the ratings is mostly from friends and family (mostly Arab names) and some good moments. But this is not the reality, don't be tricked by the perception of what this business is trying to sell because the reality is far from it. If you do enter a similar situation to us, be firm and go legal, he buckles it like a little boy who just wet himself.

My first experience with Master Granny Flats was visiting their show room. From my initial meeting with Denny, I knew that this was a very professional company who pride themselves on their superb granny flats. Any concerns or questions were dealt with very promptly. Thanks Denny.

I recently build my Granny Flat through Master Granny Flat. I am very pleased with the build which is of high quality and would highly recommend their services. Their staff, design team and contractors are well qualified and provide quality workmanship. Nick, our PM constantly keeps us updated on the progress of the project and is very responsive to any queries.

BEWARE! I would like to warn the public about how BAD communication Master Granny Flats has with their clients. I personally thought this company would be good to use after meeting up with Denny who is a great sales person. But after signing up, paying the deposit and leaving it into their hands to get the ball rolling on our project. They actually looked at our project and decided it was too hard to go to council with it as they feared rejection after some of their other clients projects were rejected with the same council and the worst part was that they didn't even tell me this at the time and wasted 3 months of nothing been done and not even telling me. I finally chased them up after the covid period asking how come I still haven't heard from anyone and why its taking so long and only then to find out they had thought someone had told me. But NO, noone had called me or emailed me to explain the situation. I was furious as anyone could imagine! Extremely BAD communication between staff members and not even informing their client. I decided to cancel the contract and asked for a refund. If they can't even communicate with their clients properly, I didn't want to be dealing with a company like this. The refund also was another furious 3 weeks of waiting, chasing up on phone calls and emails all because the owner Robert Daoud wouldn't give the ok. Personally I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through with dealing with Master Granny Flats. They are unreliable and have very BAD communication within their staff and especially their clients. Once you are signed in a contract, they don't care about you. Go with someone else and don't waste your time with Master Granny Flats! That's all I can say!

Our project is still at the early stages but so far Denny and Stephanie have been excellent. They have been very attentive and responsive with our enquiries. Can't fault their clear communication and professionalism. I look forward to seeing the finished product in the coming months.
