Manning Aquatic Centre Bathurst reviews
33I have doubts about the staffing of this place, especially in the event of an emergency. They have no idea about their own procedures, memberships, and even getting in the front door, which seems to take forever. Up the training and competency of all staff.
The centre is a wonderful venue for all ages
Female toilets are a disgrace dirty and toilet seats need replacing
Floors need monthly scrubbing with a machine
Obviously Covid and hygiene regulations are not needed here
Good clean centre, casual visit costs about $9 for adult, kid pool caters for a large range of ages, I visit often, good value
Watching life guards attention drawn to chat with each other, body turned away from patrons ins
ead of their surroundings is very disconcerting
You can eat, swim and relax in warm water or cafeteria. Family friendly. Outdoor and indoor nice and clean swim pool for all ages.
The womens change room floors are NOT clean, they need a real scrub or steam/bleach clean. If you look at original tile colour under seats where no one walks and then look at main floor area. Horrible. The Blayney complex is WAY cleaner. It needs some attention to detail cleaning at Bathurst.
Amazing. I frequent the venue almost every day and can more than adequate meet my needs of fitness, health and wellness. The facility is always clean and the staff are constantly alert and helpful. Thank you. It has been amazing for my mental health following my transition from the Military to civilian life. 5 stars.
Nice place to cool down to whilst staying a few nights. The centre itself is very large with ample parking outside. I took 3 kids and the kids pool area was a hit with the whirlpool being the main attraction. Showers and toilets fairly clean and the canteen does good hot chips. Thanks for having us.
Facilities are getting out dated. Only indoor heated pool available to swim in was the kids pool. Every other pool was reserved as lap pools.
Indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna and steam room. Cafe on site and swimwear and other swim gear sold. There are swim and aquarobics classes. The indoor area is heated in winter, which is welcome. Gets quite crowded and busy during peak times, but other times of the day the centre is reasonably quiet. During school holidays, the centre is busy for a larger portion of the day.
Fabulous place for a family swim all year round. Large heated pools for laps and shallow pools for kid's play. We'll come back here again and swim while it snows outside, how amazing!
As an overall comment the facilities are very good. Various types of pool areas for all age groups including steam room, sauna and spa pool.
What stops me from going there now is how the pool is managed. I have health conditions that cause constant pain. I got a membership so I could do low impact exercises in the indoor pool to help with my fitness and pain management. Each time I entered a lane in the pool the life guards would change the lane signage to either closed or booked lane. On many occasions this left all but one lane opened which was been used for swimming lessons. The remainder of the lanes were unused by anyone.
Very disappointed I was unable to exercise at this public facility. I revoked my membership as it was expensive to have and not be able to use it as intended.
Lovely pool - plenty of space to have a fun time with the whole family, water temperature is really nice, whirlpool is good fun
Friendly staff, clean shower room, hot water for showers, pool water temperature monitored, water clear from debris and parking availability excellent.
Booked steam room online, drove 40 mins from Orange, I get to reception to be told oh the steam room doesn't open till Monday, I asked why isn't that stated online, the lady said we can't (really) just wasted nearly 2 hours and petrol, not Happy
From the moment you enter & are greeted by wonderful happy reception staff to the friendly life guard’s what an awesome centre Manning Aquatic centre was. Spotlessly clean male & female bathrooms, vigilant regular cleaning process in place. Drove a long way to do laps here & it was definitely worth the trip. We’ll be back!
I had such a fun and relaxing time here, the staff are all so friendly and i would always recommend the experience and I will be going again as soon as possible!:)
Unsure of more parking inside, so I parked on the street. Friendly front staffs and lifeguard. Multiple pool fitness classes and swimming classes available. I notice leisure people also do laps 20+ on their lane. Price $8.4 per pool entry for adult. Membership recommended if visiting more than once a week. Bring own cleaning products.
This place is a health and safety hazard
the management team (if you can call them that) are totally inept.the pool actively employs lifeguards who are either 13 years old or 83 years old. Either way - i would not depend on them to save my kids.they are normally too busy talking to each other or staring into space
Having checked the Bx Aquatic Centre website for the closing time as 8 p.m. I was disappointed to discover that the Aquatic centre had closed early!
