The waiting room is very neat and modern. The building is cool. Reception staff are friendly. The doctor was running almost half an hour late but we were told after we got there which was nice since we were taking our baby.

How would I know! I rang three times to make an appointment. Three times I was on hold. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I twice decided to use your callback system but the your calls never came!

Dr Sally was very good and thorough. It was the first time I have had freezing that was relatively painless. She has good modern methods and is very easy to talk to.

John is nice, helpful, and knowledgeable but he is always late. By an hour.if you book an appointment with Lotus just make sure you don’t have plans immediately after or you’re going to be late.

I have been taking my elderly Dad to see Dr Alecia Thornton recently and found her to be an extremely caring and thorough Doctor. All of the staff have been very helpful and efficient.

Made an appointment to see a dermatologist at the recommendation of my GP. On the day I was unable to attend and phoned hours in advance & was unable to get through. Instead I sent an email asking them to cancel, I received a response saying thank you for notifying and even phoned me. They then proceeded to send a letter to my GP saying I "did not attend" - implying that I did not notify them, to which my GP confronted me about. Safe to say I will never be attending this place.

Dr Junger is a total professional but still warm, confident and thorough. I have totally enjoyed and appreciated her help and cannot give her a high enough recommendation.

Have had positive experience in the past, but today I was snapped at by Lee/Leigh the receptionist and arrived for our 2: 15 appointment and 2: 10 only to still be waiting at 3pm - so we left and we won't back and would not recommend this place.

Hello Dr Relic, Dr DeZwaan, This is actually Aimee Stromeier, We want say a huge thank you to all dermatologists from this practice including yourself and Dr Jenkins for looking after myself and Samantha stromeier through the John Hunter Hospital Dermatology Outpatients Clinic for the past 9 years, I first came to meet Dr Relic 13 years ago (2005) when this practice was formally Lake Macquarie Dermatology in Toronto I had to see him after a Critically Urgent referral was sent to review me with suspected Septicaemia (infection) I was then taken by Nsw Ambulance to The Children’s Hospital @ Westmead for obsovation and treatment for a week, Dr Relic was very polite caring and professional and did his best to help with the limited information he had available, Both me and Sammy were under his care for 2 years at JHH before we were transferred into the adult clinics with Dr Alan Watson (Now Retired), Over the past 7 years you have some great Registrar ‘s come through the Dermatology clinics including Dr David Jenkins, Dr Bonny Fergie, Dr Sarah McDonald, Dr Bonita Choi, Dr Adam Harris, Dr Jessica Bale, Dr Alicia Thornton and Dr Ludi Ge and Dr Vivian Tng, I do have one issue that is maybe the Registrar’s might need to consider what patients and their skin conditions would be suitable for using Bleach Baths for infections as some patients body may not be able to tolerate this kind off treatment as this is what Vivian asked my sister to try and it gave her chemical burns due to our Netherton’s Syndrome like obviously everyone carry’s staphylococcus aureus on their skin and they don’t always get sick and i’m Colonised with MRSA but this doesn’t mean Samantha has she never court it from me even though she was around me in the hospital each time I was admitted with the infection over the last 11 years, I thank you all very much for the time and care you give to us and all your patients, it has been great working with you all over this year as well and look forward to seeing you again in 2019 and for many more years to come, Hopefully the new batch of Registrar ‘s will be just as good as the ones we have had for the past 3 years already, Thanks again. ️ Kind Regards Aimee Stromeier xxxccc

Upon making an appointment 6 months a go, I was advised cost of consultation would be $210. On the day after seeing the Doctor who was very professional I had my body checked & 6 spots frozen off. Was advised I need a BCC surgically removed and a photo was taken. Upon presentation to the front counter to pay my $210 as quoted, I was told it was an extra $160 to have the 6 spots frozen off. I have been attending Skin Specialist for 30 years & NEVER have I been charged extra from the consultation fee to have things frozen off. So make sure to ask for scenarios eg: Spots frozen & any other things they may do in the consultation that is extra to walking through the door. Needless to say I will not be returning.

I went to Doctor Relic at Lotus dermatology in 2017.
I found him extremely thorough, professional, and caring.
I would recommend him as a dermatologist to anyone with a skin condition that needs help.
