Lizard Log

Everyone knows, this is a great park. Plenty to do and will keep the whole family entertained. Great walking tracks, playgrounds (some are being upgraded), flying fox for kids and adults, BBW areas, markets on the weekends, cafe (not the best coffee) and plenty more.

One of the largest parks I have been to in this area, good facilities, picnic area and cafe/restaurant near the entrance. Every Saturday local markets.

Love that place. It is a huge Park and you can walk around it if you want or just pick a place and stay there and relax. Absolutely a place to visit. Bring the whole family.

Such a beautiful park. Take your family and friends even the elderly and enjoy the atmosphere.

Please people don't allow this Covid to brake up families and friends because people are going through Depression and becoming very anxious. It is the only way I can try to help people and not be scared from everything you hear. Be safe and do the right thing for your self and others. If you are believer of God have faith and do not be afraid beautiful people. Go out to the park.

Lizard Log market is on Saturdays. Only a third of the stalls are there on the day I visited.

Lovely freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. Gozleme is cooked in front of your eyes. The pastry is thin. The filling is fresh and a little crunchy.

Try fried dumpling and shallot pancake. This stall also sells Italian crispy pastry biscuits which are really a winner for sweet tooth. The pastry is perfectly cooked, not oily. The icing powder sprinkled on the crispy pastry adds gentle sweetness to the pastry.

Start with one piece and you might need more and more. Great company with tea or coffee. $5 a container.

Another stall sells unique rugs made from recycled materials such as leather strings and fabrics. Prices are $40-50.

Great place to enjoy picnics and many paths to walk or ride a bike. Lizard Log has an excellent children's playground.

Beautiful place and relaxing for a quiet time stroll exercise read a book also market on Saturday

Nice little outdoor market.
Only downside is that is not to well known, so a bit limited on stalls.

I love this place, forget the concrete
Jungle, nature at its best, fresh air, no pollution, nice place for a family barbecue, plenty of space for the kids to run around and adults to keep fit and healthy. Come on down.

Decent amount of parking, play equipment and tracks. Great for bikes and scooters.

Plenty of tables to sit and eat or just on the grass.

So this is a large park where people can walk and ride.
The riding tracks are not located at the east entrance but further along.
I walked the moonrise loop and it was approx 6.5km of various tracks both sealed and off road.
Sign markers are present.
Some hills to climb but doable even if you aren't that fit Simple rest and go on.
Notice plenty of bbq and areas to have picnics

Beautiful park in a great place. Family and party friendly. Has bbq places and plenty of parking.

Nice picnic area near Blacktown. It has a small play area for kids to play at. Neat and clean toilet facility. Neat and clean BBQ and picnic shades. Has a cafe and pizza place at the entrance as well. Loved the open grounds which are handy on a sunny day in winters. The main attraction though are the biking and walking trails. Enough parking spots as well. In all a good experience and a nice breakout especially with kids.

Ive been going to Western Sydney Parklands for years now! It's so enjoyable to find new walking tracks and find cute picnic spots for the weekends. Very blessed to live amongst the parklands

Excellent for bike riding, walking or a family day out. There's a lot to explore on a mountain bike at the back of the park.

We went to the markets at Lizard Log. I find all sorts of goodies at the markets. Some of them are yummy, lol.

A beautiful park with regular maintainace and clean toilets. Pleasant picnic spots and great for cycling.

A beautiful well kept Park for families to enjoy, the BBQ facilities were well maintained, plenty of trees for shade, plenty of open space for games as well as a large playground for kids. The most important part are the bathrooms.well kept and clean. A Ranger is also visible at all times which ensures safety for everyone.
