55 Markets here on saturday 9am - 2pm. (Update: sadly, these markets no longer run)
Plenty of parking. Cafe on site. Toilets available. Lots of space for the kids to play. Great bike, walking tracks.
Love this park! So much to do. Great place for having a celebration such as kids birthday parties. Well maintained and includes toilets as well. One of our favourite parks!
I have loved this place for years and hope to continue enjoying it for many more. Thankyou to the hard working people who maintain it.
A couple of suggestions.can we add a bird watchers board showing the species found here, the different walking loops would benefit from signs showing distance/ steps/ difficulty and for the younger generation a picture story in signs told around a walking track
The area is massive, with lots of open fields and large BBQ shelters. Bathrooms are also decently new, pretty cool how the water from the sink directly goes to the play roots. Surprised there’s no bin in the bathrooms though, a bit annoying for handling nappies.
The play equipment area is not bad. Two excavators, slides, logs, swings, and two really long flying fox gliders.
A short hike will take you to a couple of really nice scenic spots.
Heaps of outdoor things to do and a good restaurant/cafe. We go here a lot and have booked the pavilions many times for birthday parties etc.
Quite a nice park with a decent amount of parking and a huge number of sheltered picnic tables.
No crazy birds begging for food which was a nice change.
The Moonrise loop was nice and a lot was sheltered with tall trees.
The best park for dog and family. Easy parking, huge land with nice hiking courses, very well designed. Not so busy through weekdays, very good!
Great place for a nice day out and walk. Just stay away from the Pit Toiliets if you do go on the Moonrise Walk: P Ye Be Warned!:)
Great spot for a picnic or to let the kids have a play. There is a market there on Saturdays.
Nice big park, great dedicated bbq areas for electric and byo gas/charcoal grills. Have charcoal bins for disposal, and decent toilets too.
Beautiful natural landscape and picnic area. The walking path in the south are reminiscent of a savanna. A breathtaking place to have a stroll at. Would also be a pretty place to barbeque in.
Nice spot, however I couldn't find any lizards on any of the logs! Bit disappointed really.
Huge park, not enough amenities. Toilets at the pavilion were locked up and water tap handles removed. What's the point of a park without any amenities?
Welcoming entrance, well maintained gardens and grounds and a very well kept park. The sheds are huge with lots of seating arrangements for big families on barbecue parties. The barbecues were clean and comfortably close to the sheds. There are toilet facilities close to every couple of sheds/sitting areas.
Huge space for outdoor sports, a lots of parking space, great place for BBQ on the weekend and family gathering.
Enjoy walking and beautiful place to relax.
Quite a nice quiet, open place with plenty of room and air for everyone to enjoy. Good covered areas to sit and eat. Clean natural walking or riding environment. Good parking areas. I saw a ranger checking the area over but not intrusively. A good vibe.
Great park with kid's playgound and walking paths. Love walking my dog along the many paths/grassed areas.
It's very nice and big park for all sorts of activities for all ages. Kids playground, picnic areas, many walking tracks, tree climbing.etc. I would love to go back to finish all the walking tracks
Great place for walks and picnic with the family.
Maybe avoid the weekend though, or get there early to reserve a place as it get so busy.
