Lismore Regional Gallery

Just a small gallery. Was great to see the Archibald paintings, and the Hanna cabinet was incredible.

Lismore Regional Gallery is a good art space which has had some interesting shows. I don't think it has explored its full potential and for the life of me l can't understand that children, with accompanying parents/carers are allowed to run around touching and interfering with hanging art works without any gallery staff interception. Such a shame but it does, one assumes give a new meaning to the process of interactive art.

I stopped in for a visit recently, pretty impressed with the layout and art on show. The gallery is free to enter too which is a major plus. Nice air conditioning indoors and there's a quiet little cafe near the entry.

Went to see the Hannah Cabinet. The staff were very friendly and great with the kids. Beautiful display areas and easy to find your way around.

Great day spent at Seniors Day. Great hospitality and displays. Well worth a finish or two next time in Lismore.

Beautiful space to have a wander through.
I love the kids art corner. It's a great way to engage children and get them involved in their creatice side.
