L2C is incredibly professional and efficient - we had a large project that needed to be completed in a short time frame. I was thrilled that L2C was able to complete everything on time and on budget!

From the moment Matt and his team arrived at our house for a quote to the moment the system was installed and handed over we could not be more impressed with their thouroughness and professionalism.
There were many helpful suggestions that enabled us to select a system that would be fit for purpose.
The installation team arrived when the said they would, were also friendly and professional. Importantly they were diligent about being clean and left the property as they found it.
We would happily recommend them to family and friends to quote and install any air conditioning sytem.

Have used Licensed to Chill for repairs and upgrading our Aircon Unit. Now always have them do a Service Check prior to summer. Highly recommend.

L2C have been our preferred service provider since ~ 2011/12. On this occasion our 15yr old Actron had reached the point of requiring either additional extensive repairs or replacement. Their straight forward approach to delivery of the issues and their advice made our decision to replace it easy.
Work was completed quickly, cleanly and the outcome is…. Warm rooms. Thank you to everyone at L2C.

Excellent service. I would use L2C again. Hopefully not too soon! The 2 Technicians were prompt and explained the condition and problems of the unit.

The call out fees are among the most expensive I’ve experienced. L2C charge 240$ for the quote only and then additional to repair. We were charged for a service call 240 $ for an hour to tell us that the unit was low on gas and had a leak. The technician made no attempt to identify the leak or provide a solution. The technician had not come prepared to fix the leak and did not carry the gas to top up the unit. When I queried the technician, he gave me all kinds of reason why the unit could not be repaired on the day, only confirming my assessment that there was no intent to do the repair on the day. I believe that L2C have misrepresented and did not have any intent to fix the unit and the 240$ was for the diagnosis (there is a leak). Had I known this I would not have engaged L2C.

Following the visit by the L2C technician, we engaged another licenced and qualified technician to look at the unit. He also diagnosed that the unit was low on gas and required a gas refill and that there was a leak. As expected, he diagnosed the leak, fixed the leak, and charged the unit with gas and it is working perfectly. One visit, one callout charge and an hour he had diagnosed and fixed the problem for a little over 300$. What did we get for 240$ charge from the L2C technician?

Following that L2C sent me quotes for two options, as below and recommending option 1. –
$3,100 - 3,600 + GST for the replacement of a new system
$1399.97 + GST for repair
Not surprised with the cost of replacement (verbally confirmed more than double of the going rate for a similar unit) and that too without a model or make or size or power of the unit.

Conclusion - The call out fees are among the most expensive I’ve experienced. L2C charge 240$ for the quote only and then additional to repair. Was I made aware of this previously, would not have used them. Do not recommend for repair.

Thanks for your response.

Your technician was not here for an hour and did not even attempt to diagnose the leak. I think you are missing the point, I asked your technician if he had checked for leaks and he said "no". Telling me that there is a leak is not diagnosis and charge me 240 $ for that? What time constraint, when no attempt was made to identify the leak in the first place in the allocated one hour? Diagnosis' is that the leak is identified, is repairable or not, need parts to be replaced/repaired, we recommend repair or replace and gas etc.
:) The scope was to diagnose the problem and fix the AC. Is fixed by another company/ technician and working well.not much more to it. Not wasting any more money and time with L2C.

Our AC stopped cooling on one of the hottest days. Most companies has a 10 day wait whereas Emily was able to fit me in the next day. The technician Liam arrived punctually, rapidly identified the fault and replaced the part in the spot. AC up and running in less than an hour. Great job thanks

Licensed to Chill was fantastic to deal with. My aircon stopped working on hottest day & I rang to see if L2C could help me, the service staff were exceptional - friendly, prompt & efficient. They were able to arrange a service tech to come out the same day.

Liam the service tech was outstanding. Very professional, friendly, efficient & knowledgable. He diagnosed the fault & fixed the issue on the spot (had the spare part in his van).

I will use L2C again! Thank you!

Our caravan air-conditioner mother board decided to die during a series of hot day's. Following a lot of run around and trying to find the part, Grant came to our rescue with the right part and advice. Awsome service and much appreciated help. Thoroughly recommend Grant for your next air-conditioner needs. Thanks Grant

Had a different company come in and say that the whole a/c system needed replaced for $11k+ so called Licence to Chill to get a separate opinion. Thirty minutes later faulty capacitor replaced and we up and running. The guy that came round was really professional and knew his stuff. When the system eventually breaks we’ll be getting it replaced by this firm.

Max arrived early and immediately I liked his manner and felt he'd have the experience and expertise to identify the problem. He fairly quickly found and fixed it, and did some basic service checks at the same time for us giving the system a 100% pass for its age.
Extremely happy with the service of L2C.

L2C successfully diagnosed source of failure of our 30yo ducted system, detected a refrigerant leak, cut out faulty tubing/valve assembly, sourced and installed a new one. System failed again after 36 hours, L2C immediately returned and made a wiring correction. System working perfectly ever since. Initially offered to repair (not recommended by L2C), or replace unit or replace with invertor system. Quoted approximate costs. Offered good guidance despite not recommending the repair. Very pleased with the result, very professional to deal with.

Happy to recommend Licence to Chill. After a lightning strike our domestic A/c unit needed replacing. Licence to Chill was chosen because of their responsiveness and integrity. Can’t thank them enough for their work.
