Tara is the best in the the business for injectables. So knowledgeable and very precise. I would trust nobody else with my face. If she doesn’t think you need something she will voice that opinion instead of just doing it to take your money which I obviously love. She is an absolute legend. 5 stars for Tara from Laser Clinics Bondi Junction. After 3 consultations, Tara was the one who made me feel most comfortable to get my first treatment. If you’re on the anxious side like me, book an appointment with her, she’s very reassuring and doesn’t make you feel stupid for asking many questions. Very professional! Give her a payrise:)

This review comes a few years late, but I only realised recently how shockingly bad my experience was after mustering the courage to try laser again this year and having the complete opposite experience (see my other review). Back in July 2019 I decided to try laser on my face to reduce an abundance of black unwanted hair. From memory I pre-paid ten sessions. I was excited to finally be doing something to rid my life-long struggle with having to regularly de-hair my face but what I was to endure almost left me traumatised.

Firstly, the pain. It was absolutely excruciating. I found myself having to psych myself up every time just to make it to the appointment. I tried to voice my concerns to the technician, and even though I had a different one every time, not one of them seemed to care or understand the amount of pain the treatment was causing me. The only thing they suggested was to try numbing creams. I had even asked several times if they could adjust the settings or do something with the machine so that it wouldn’t be so intense, but they refused, saying that it was basically just a number on a dial and my setting was already on the lowest. I felt unheard and like my concerns were being dismissed. I was just a number – in and out in 15 minutes. No time for listening to me – they just wanted to get it over with and shoo me out. Every time I finished a session, my face was bright red like a tomato as if someone had slapped me all over my face or like I’d had the worst sunburn. Something about this didn’t seem right, especially after almost every appointment, the pain I had endured during and after the treatment left me feeling faint. One time I seriously thought I was going to pass out from the residual burning pain I felt on my skin. It would take a few hours for the pain and redness to subside. Luckily there was no lasting damage to my skin. And I don’t believe I have a low paint threshold either, having had children without pain-relief, I am not unfamiliar with intense pain. Plus, I had also done laser on my legs in the past (a different clinic) without having experienced this level of pain or redness either.

Secondly, the results. Now, if this type of pain was going to get me results, I was almost prepared to endure it, proven by me managing to attend nine out of the ten sessions. But the expected results never came. If anything, my face was worse than ever. The hair never fell out or reduced after each session. I had to shave my face in-between (as I could no longer wax or pluck) and I practically ended up with coarse black stubble like a man’s face. My face wasn’t like this before the treatment, I was definitely not expecting it to become like that after treatment. I cannot express the utter disappointment and sadness I felt that all that pain felt, and money wasted resulted in my face becoming hairier! I went back to waxing and plucking and depressingly accepted that this was something that I was probably just going to have to do every few days for the rest of my life.

If you’ve read my review this far, this is my advice. Do your research. Not all lasers are the same. Don’t get enticed or roped-in by their sales and discounts for pre-paid packages either. Make sure you go for a consultation that involves them actually using the machine on you. Get a feel for the people that will be treating you. If you feel rushed or your questions not properly answered, try somewhere else. In hindsight, even after having had the first session I should have demanded my money back.
In the end, I found the most amazing laser place and technician this year that has helped me recover from the trauma of my experience at Laser Clinics Australia. I’m finally achieving the hair-reduction results I was desperately seeking the first time around (please see my other review).

I had to cancel my appointment pretty last minute as I was in an accident and laying in bed with a concussion. I still have to "pay" (its prepaid) for the session because i have not canceled earlier.

Coolsculpt. I was advised to have 4 pads in one session. After each 2, a massage hammer was used on my belly. It felt like beating beaten up. I was also advised that there would be mild pain afterwards. I was unable to sleep, sit comfortably, had to take a week off work or wear clothes which put any pressure on my stomach. The swelling and pain were extreme. When I emailed my complaint, I did not receive a response for 4 days. The owner was rude, defensive and dismissive. I have sought medical advice and needed an ultrasound and bloodwork to monitor my symptoms. No care or responsibility taken. Very distressing experience.

I have been receiving cosmetic injectable’s by Tara for over two years now and honestly so glad that i have found her. She is very professional, kind and is honest with what she recommends based on your own facial features. I’ve never been happier with how she’s perfected my lips and does my botox. I highly recommend her and the whole team at LCA bondi! Thank you again for your service Tara always look forward to coming back!

Have only had great experiences here. Always so accommodating to my schedule, fitting me in even when they're booked up. Connie has been so kind and cooperative but all of the ladies are lovely. Would definitely recommend this service just as much as getting laser hair removal!

I highly recommend “ Coco “ at Bondi Junction - she’s knowledgeable and very warm. As a male I really appreciate how comfortable she helps me feel. I get cool sculpting, Micros, LED’s, laser hair, injections.

I spent a generous amount and booked laser for quite a few parts of my body. It was so quick like it wasn’t even half an hour long. Usually just my lip and chin takes 20 minutes. Who’ve done them in the past did have precision and expertise. However, this particular lady just wanted to send me off. It was so hard to watch her do my laser, waste of time and money as she was brushing it over and not zapping. This session was one of the most unsatisfying, waste of time and money which I will never get back. Just awful!

Terrible customer service. Absolutely no respect for customer’s time. They changed my appointment themselves last minute, after sending 3 text messages explaining their cancellation policy!

The quality of work is very low, girls just don’t care about what they do. Last time, they used the wrong skin tone laser machine on me because the other one wasn’t working, without informing me prior to my appointment.

Terrible customer service. Had a terrible experience with a woman named Christina who spoke to me in a very confrontational, rude way when I asked for a refund due to them cancelling my appointment, and me deciding to get the treatment at another clinic location. Unbelievable.

Super rude staff, I’ve even forfeited a prepaid treatment because I just can’t be bothered dealing with the rudeness.

Tried to ring multiple times for 4 consecutive days with no answer at all, left voicemail as well and haven’t been contacted at all. I’ll be sure to take my money to a business that cares enough to answer phone calls from customers:)

I've been to this clinic for several sessions (bought a package), and the experience has disappointing. Results have been inconsistent (eg missed patched of hair). I provided feedback, and it was completely ignored.
