Laser Clinics Australia - Charlestown Square

I hope to provide a fair review here. My appointment today was changed to be 2hrs earlier, because the girl was leaving early for a long weekend, which I agreed to despite explaining it would be very difficult with my family plans. I am horrified to say, I drove 4 hours to be there, provided updates on the way that I expected to be a few minutes late, however when I arrived only 10 minutes late exactly (into a 30 minute appointment), I was rudely declined an appointment in a way that was quite shocking.

Over the past 3 years of attending this clinic I have observed that the young girls who work here often treat customers harshly and it seems to be the staff culture.

I hope this is of assistance and I would like to remind business owners that living is hard, and a disrespectful interaction like I experienced today can be very triggering for members of the public who may have just buried a loved one or be facing all manner of stress or trauma. Everyone kindness and respect.

Could not recommend Laser Clinics at Charlestown enough. Since commencing my skin care treatment with them, they have been nothing but helpful and always available to answer questions. My skin has cleared up so much & im feeling much more confident in my skin. 100000/10.

I had Botox but I didn’t get a good result whatsoever, despite having Botox for many years. When I went back nearly three weeks later for a treatment review I was told it was because my last Botox had been too long ago (7 months) and because of my age (49). Seriously? !

WORST EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Don't book with them if you are thinking to please. They didn't let me know their machine was broken and I ever got a conformation text for my booking. Thank god I called the day before for other enquires and found out the machine was broken, if not I would have showed up for nothing. The person answering the phone was rude and made 0 effect of trying to offer me any solution than asking me to wait another 2 months after I have waited for over 3 weeks. Said they will update on me, NEVER did. I had to ring them and was answered with a very rude attitude like its my fault. Black listed forever period

Sold me and booked me for a service they couldn't provide because machine was broken. No effort to call to rearrange appointment, just let me turn up.
Manager refused to refund or transfer to a different clinic even though can't provide the service sold

My first 3 laser sittings on full face were good.
Staff is kind and good.
But staff at Charlestown always missed corners of lips. But this time, Within 5 days post laser treatment, hairs are back and dark and hard in strength. I have explained this thing to the staff last month as well and she said that corners of lips are bit difficult to do and always missed. I had same laser treatment from other shop and was effective and knows how to cover every area of face.
I couldn’t understand that how Laser Clinic Charlestown staff don’t know the technique. It looks like they need more training and education or way to do the laser.
One more thing, staff never clean the face before start the laser treatment. They just put the eye shields and start the laser. I have informed the staff member that air use on face is warm and not Cool which should be, but she said it’s always like this and this the way of laser treatment.
I was really disappointed on the knowledge and education of staff. They should know that face is really sensitive part of skin and people in this profession should have Proper knowledge, which seems to be lacking here.
The manager or boss of this laser clinic shop should pay more attention on enhancing education and practical work.

My experience during my appointment was great. My technician's name was Alex and she was wonderful. I've had LHR on my whole body and continue to only get my face done because it is very hormonal. I typically see effects within 5-7 days and they last for 2-3 months.
Initially they had me on a YAG machine, but I asked them to use the same setting I've had used on me before (Pro, setting 7) and which has worked beautifully on my face and on the rest of my body. I'm indian background with light olive skin tone.
Unfortunately after 2 weeks, my facial hair was still present. I called asking for a free retreatment.
The manager looked at my record and agreed that other LCA sites had used a similar setting on me. She kept saying this was inappropriate and I should have been treated on a YAG. I asked how it's possible that the same machine at another LCA clinic with the Pro, 7 setting could have produced consistently great results over the last 4 years and suddenly it doesn't? She just kept repeating that she hasn't ever (and would never) use such a "weak setting" on anyone and it "wouldn't do anything". I asked her if this was the opinion, then why didn't the technician discuss this with me on the day and urge me to stay on a machine that they thought was better suited for me? She said because I asked them to change the machine and "refused to be treated on YAG" (her words - this was not the case), I was ineligible for retreatment.
The handling of this issue, though relatively small, was abysmal and her rational didn't even make sense!
Be aware in the future - if you have a treatment and it's not effective, LCA Charlestown may be difficult to deal with, they may not maintain their professional responsibility to provide an adequate service and ensure customer satisfaction. They may even blame you!

The service here is second to none! I had the most wonderful experience with Hannah. She was very thorough and professional throughout the entire treatment. She ensured that a sensitive service was delivered with respect, ensuring dignity remained intact throughout. I’ve had laser at a couple of other places and this was by far my most pleasant experience. Thank you!

The women at charlestown are so welcoming.
They make you feel so comfortable especially when it comes to getting Brazilian.it’s awkward enough as it is getting it done in front of a stranger and they always make it less weird:)

I've just started attending the clinic and i'm really enjoying the experience. I don't feel they try and oversell me things and don't feel pressured. I never have to wait long for my appointment and the ladies are just lovely. Very helpful and fun.

All the staff r so warm and welcoming, I felt comfortable having my treatment and was always reassured and explained on what was happening. Highly recommend and the deals they have r a great saving

Been going to the girls at Charlestown Laser Clinic for a few years now and they don't disappoint! I've had laser and skin treatments here and they're very helpful, accomodating to your needs and they advise you on the best options for you. Each time I go there all the girls are really lovely, friendly and totally professional. Couldn't recommend more!

The lady that does my laser hair removal was so sweet and lovely! The staff there are always so welcoming. When getting my laser done, i started feeling quite uncomfortable from the laser but the lady was very patient and comforting when gently doing my laser. Would definitely recommend! This is now my usual place for my laser hair removal.

The team always make me feel welcome and comfortable, I never feel judged for my body and have genuine conversations during the procedures.
