Being a First Home Buyer, I’m very lucky to find Landpearl & Kathy. Living in the Building is very relax and people are very friendly & cozy.
We settled our first investment property in 2019 and we appointed Landpearl as the managing agent. We have never regretted to choose Landpearl as our agent. The team is incredibly responsive and provide outstanding customer service. Upon the rapidly changes on rental market, Landpearl team always give us the proper appraisal and take control of my property. The service has been great. Landpearl always find tenant as quickly as possible and keep me posted in timely manner. Overall, we are happy with their management service.
I bought property off plan from Landpearl and they help me to manage it up to now. Valuation increased and rent is good.
Thank you for being so nice with the lease and such a supportive agency. It has been a pleasure to rent here. This is the first living place in Sydney and I was impressed by the people who live in the building, they are all very nice and always give a helping hand if needed. Besides, the management of the building is also fabulous and we love the environment and neighborhood.
Now that I've moved on from Landpearl, I can finally provide my review - if you're looking to go to Landpearl as managing agents for your rental property, I would think again.
I had them manage tenants for my property at The Lofts III in Homebush from the end of October 2020 to March 2023 for my first property purchase. In the beginning I checked each rental income statement, but I made the error of not checking anymore after the first few months as it seemed like everything was going fine.
Disaster struck in July 2022 when I was hit with strata fees back to back to back with zero warning (around $900 each!). This completely ruined my cashflow and when I looked into what had happened I was met with a horrifying situation. Landpearl had not been paying for my strata levies since 2021.a whole year of unpaid levies.
The Landpearl team blamed the previous team on making this error, but it does not excuse the fact that they didn't even think to contact me to tell me about the issue or how they are proposing to tackle it. I would never have agreed to paying 3 quarters of levies within 3 months - our plans for a holiday were ruined and we had to live paycheck to paycheck to get by.
At this point we decided to go through every rental income provided and realised a couple of things. They had charged us for the interest on late payments on our bills (strata, water, council), our water & council bills were being sent to the tenanted address, and a handful of rental income statements were never sent to us.
We had to fight tooth and nail to be reimbursed over the course of a month from December 2022 to Jan 2023. We needed the money urgently due to the financial situation they had put us in, so we overlooked a lot of factors we could have charged them for but they still took their sweet time to reimburse us. At first, we tried to resolve matters civilly, but they would not respond or would continue to provide counter offers / refused to accept our terms. Only when we went to Fair Trading did they finally respond to us and provide us with the reimbursement we were asking for.
Another grievance with Landpearl is the fact that I bought this property with their developers on a deferred deposit agreement over a term of 5 years. I had kept track of this, and knew it should be finished around January 2023 so I asked for confirmation. They also tried to screw me on this, providing me with their records for my payment over the course of 5 years, but upon inspection I realised their records were missing a payment record. Luckily I had all the bank records ready to go, otherwise they would have taken an extra month of payment, (over $1,000)
I'd like to reiterate - the CURRENT management team may not have made the error of payments for my rental income, but they are just as horrible with service and they were responsible for the false records of my deferred deposit payment history. They were first unapologetic when I raised the issue of the overdue bills, thinking they could just blame the previous management team - but they did not alert me to this massive problem nor involve me in their plans of tackling it. It was also impossible to get a hold of them over the phone during this dispute resolution period and they would only reply to emails days or weeks later.
The way they conduct business is criminal and their customer service is pathetic. The only saving grace was a lady named Rachel who was lovely from beginning to end. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 and deserves a raise for having to work with such incompetent colleagues.
Thanks to Landpearl and Fred. We have seen many sales representatives over the last months and his service was always so professional and honest. He listened to our specific requirements and gave us exactly what we wanted. We are very grateful he looked after us and made it such a seamless process.
I recently purchased an apartment off the plan in Blacktown Allawah Projects’ development. Not only is the quality of the construction amazing but the personal service offered was incredible. It is great to see that this type of service still exists especially in the building industry which has so much negative media attention. I was a little nervous purchasing off the plan however Landpearl and Sydneywide delivered my apartment exactly how it was promised. Very trustworthy and reliable company. Highly recommended!
We are very lucky to found Kathy to help us when buying our first home. Just settled last week in LOFT III Homebush, very good quality and spacious. I am very happy about our new apartment in Miranda. Reasonable price, nicely built, minor defects, good building management. Especially thank you to Kathy of the Sales Team, a very good person to work with. Highly recommend it.
My complaint here is to the developer of the Landpearl which should have notified the purchaser that this apartment in Ryde is not only for residential purposes and it is being used as a nursing home. I thereby consider this as discremenar and dishonestly.

He made us feel very comfortable and welcome every time we came for another inspection. He treated us like friends.
