Lakeview Blinds service and installation was excellent. Darren was fantastic with the measure and advice on what to install and Adam the installer was great. We're very happy with the whole process.

Work was fine, but ordinary customer service. Demanded an extra $75 "administration fee" to speak to property manager to arrange install. $75 to call one phone number instead of another is a bit steep I reckon.

Never go with this company. They don’t even stick to their own policies all they care about is money.
Customer service was nil.
If I could give them a no star I would.

Lakeview were really easy to deal with. They came out in a timely manner to measure our door and then when it was ready, contacted us with the installation date and it was installed in no time. The whole process from start to finish was pretty simple. We're really happy with the result:)

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Awful customer service. Taking your money is the most efficient part of the whole process and the only thing they care about. The office staff are rude, careless and do nothing but lie as I only had half my install done after waiting 8 weeks. It took me to call them to say they were missing a blind and I was told it would be installed 3 days later as it was measured wrong. After no contact or update a week later I had to call them to be told it would be done that week. 3 weeks later and many lies and 7 different bookings to say it was going in, I asked for a refund as they did not meet the agreed dates and I did not want to deal with the rude staff anymore, yet I was told no. After many phone calls back and forward I was told they hadn’t even cut my blind yet which confirmed the lies over the 3 weeks. We finally got the blind installed to which it isn’t even what was asked for. It was meant to be a custom fit in a window (why it needed be cut down) and it’s 200mm longer each side. Save yourself the headache and go to a small company that cares.

NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY. All Lana does is feed you a load of lies and keep fobbing you off, give you a time frame for what you buy from them, and then when it goes 6 weeks over that time they think they can treat you like dirt, and they insist you pay infull before they come and install, customer relations is diabolical.lana says she will ring you back on a certain day and that never happens, not even a sorry. Have gone to office of fair trading who wre very helpful, Lana would not answer important questions that she was asked and would change the subject, WILL NEVER RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

We had our blinds installed last week service and professionalism of the installers was wonderful. They rang in the morning and gave a time they arrived on time polite and clean they took down the old verticals and took them away and within no time the new ones were up.they worked well together communicating well between one another. I would definitely use Lakeview blinds again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Over recent years we have now used Lakeview blinds on two properties within the Newcastle/Port Stephens area and have been extremely happy with the service, quality and timeliness of the blinds we ordered. So much so that when we moved to a remote area and were having issues with online blind retailers we asked Lakeview to again make our blinds and we organised the international freight. Poor After Sales Service
Outdoor blinds were fitted a couple of years ago around my verandah. They are already fraying down the sides with lots of threads hanging off them.apparently I am just supposed to burn them off with a cigarette lighter!
One blind came off it's mounting when I tried to roll it up. It flew up and took off into the neighbours garden!
It did it just before the warranty expired, but I only contacted Lakeview blinds recently because of Covid so I had to pay. I am 66 and did not want tradies to my house during Covid.
I was quoted $187 and was assured that this covered the call out and the reinstallation of the blind ($120 + $50 + gst). I was told i had to pay the full amount in advance.
The fitter came, rolled up the blind (thereby retensioning it) and plopped it into the bracket. It took about 3 minutes. I have now received a further Bill for $72 for the 'extra labour '. What 'extra labour?
I am currently disputing this as I was reassured twice prior to the job that it would cost no more. They are now insisting that rolling up the blind was extra labour! Are you kidding!
I already had a number of issues with the blinds not long after they were installed in the warranty period, and was already unhappy about having to get brand new, not cheap blinds fixed so soon after installation. Now I am having to deal with this latest issue regarding the extra labour cost!
Buyer beware! Atrocious, extortionate after sales service! And you will pay a fortune if you ever need a 3 minute repair job!

The awnings are great. The installers were great. The person who answered on the phone was abrupt and dismissive.when I made inquiries as to why it was taking 5 months to get my awnings.

Original Lakeview Blinds window shades more than outlived their expected life time but was time to update with new shades. This was great value for money & a whole lot easier than replacing all the hardware as well. Service was prompt & the installers were very personable & professional. Highly recommend!
