Lake Group Strata - Strata Management

Completely unprofessional, unresponsive and jeopardized the sale of my unit. They issued information to a buyers agent about a 40% increase in strata levies before notifying me of the increase (causing the buyer to think I had been deceitful). When I spoke to them on the phone, they couldn’t understand that putting my levy notice in the mail the same day they provided that information over the phone to the buyer’s agent, was unprofessional.
Further, the levy increase was not agreed to by strata committee at the AGM 2 months earlier, but the minuted plan to move funds from one fund to another didn’t make its way into an updated budget.
The have since organized a meeting to reconvene and correct this, but it took so long that it’s after my sale closes and has cost me thousands of dollars in adjusted sale price.

We handed management of our strata to Lake Group over 2 years ago. Kim Luckel is our strata manager and we couldn’t be happier with her. We have had a couple of plumbing issues which required out of hours service and Kim was straight on to it. No matter whether the issue is big or small she responds straight away and the tradesmen she has recommended have all been excellent. I have no hesitation In recommending Kim and Lake Group Strata.

So far I have only had dealing with kerrilyn and Dione, it has been nothing but a pleasure working with all involved.

Guys, please stay away from this company. The manager who manages the properties in Woodberry is a disaster; she lacks time management skills and organisation and seems to have problems procrastinating. As a result, nothing ever gets done. Also lack transparency; they don’t copy all of the owners in their emails. I have owned my property for almost a year, and I cannot believe we need to pay for this awful customer service. I will speak with the rest of the owners to move away from this company.

I am a property owner (and Committee Secretary) in a strata complex where Lake Group Strata is the managing agents. Since Nicole Stewart started looking after us earlier this year, both myself and the entire committee have been absolutely delighted with her professionalisms, efficiency, helpfulness and prompt response to all our varied needs. Lake Group Strata are family! We work together, we laugh together and we support each other and i think this reflects in the way we interact with our Owners and Contractors. I could not see myself working anywhere else.

I have no confidence in Lake Group Strata who ignore the problems of the minority members of the neighbourhood association to which I belong!

Kim has gone above & beyond to find a contractor to install fire shutters on our strata complex in order to comply with council requirements.
After much research & enquires Kim was able to source an appropriate contractor who could perform the work at a reasonable cost & substantial savings in costs.

Since Kim has become our contact/manager for our Strata, communication has been excellent, she is very responsive and prompt when dealing with matters and keeping you informed. She has a very pleasant and friendly manner, is very willing and very easy to communicate with.

Dealt with this organisation as an owner and as resident for over 10 years. Poorly run business, unable to communicate with clients or manage properties with any professionalism or care.

Incredibly frustrating, admin deficiencies sending my levy notices to the wrong email multiple times even after speaking with with them on the phone and having email correspondence. There was no waving of debt recovery fees. Slow to pay trades, poor expensive selection of insurance. One star is too much

I have had the pleasure of working with Lake Group Strata for 11 years, and have always found their service to be impeccable, their fees very fair and reasonable, the strata meetings are incredibly well run, and the service provided has been quick, efficient and of high standard. After using 3 other Strata Managers for my property prior to Lake Group being engaged, it was an obvious 'breath of fresh air' in how well they actually did the job they were paid to do.
I also can't fault the friendly and approachable staff who work there, often going out of their way to help when an issue emerged.

Wonderful company to work for. Always pays invoices on time. Look forward to continuing working with them in the future.
