30Extremely picturesque postcard view of Lake Cathie. Great place to eat some fish & chips while taking in the view.
Shame to see what man has done to nature, & how they are fighting over a solution. There is no solution without 2 bigger bridges & take the lake back that the greedy have taken to build bigger houses on newly developed land. Nature is the victim here, so sad.
Beautiful places to pull off the road along the lakeside for a break. Unsure if you'd go swimming but at least you can cool off your feet!
Great place for a BBQ or picnic with beautiful views, plenty of tables and chairs, a kids playground and plenty of parking.
Lake needs to be reopened still plenty of fish and more sand than we need, still great place to relax.
Oh my WHAT is happing to beautiful lake kathie. Its a mess. With all of the sand buildingup and the fishes being caught in the water that is left. Coincil or someone in authority should investigate
Sadly either RMS or the local council has allowed the ocean fliw to once again become a sandbar there is little or no flushing of this beautiful lake. What water there is looks rancid and its just sand bar for as far as you can see. So sad to see thier inaction making this a complete turn off fir so many
A great place to take kids, but sadly looking a bit sick with the lake drying up because of the drought.
Great what is going on here. Will be a great place for a picnic and the kids will be able to entertain themselves on the new equipment. Pity about the lake.
