I was also suitably impressed with the approach and management of the sale of a couple of my properties in the local area. They deal promptly and efficiently with all my property management issues.

Can’t recommend Bray and the team at LS highly enough. Was a complicated situation with them taking the property over from another agent and the tenant moving out. Bray was super accomodating with getting us access at times that suited us all. Whilst they represent the landlord as tenants we felt heard and everything we requested was never too much trouble and promptly acted on. Will absolutely recommend friends to go through the team at Laing & Simmons.

Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill have managed our rental house for over 9 years while we were out of Sydney. They are totally professional and we were very comfortable knowing they were taking care of our property. Their tenant selection was also superb. In particular, we very much appreciated Braydon Govan’s personal care of our needs and those of our tenants. We would strongly recommend this group.

As a tenant, Richard and his team were great to deal with. We’d had a couple of terrible experiences prior to dealing with him and it was refreshing to not be treated as a second class citizen!

As a tenant, I have been dealing with Richard and his team for a few years now. They are always very helpful and professional. Richard, especially, is always quick to respond to my requests/emails and is a pleasure to deal with.

Through 8 years history of tenancy in Australia I have never had such poor customer service/experience that I got with Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill recently.

I just highlighted ONLY few points below not only to help them improve the service but also to share here about our experience. (I have all the emails as supporting documents regarding the few points in the following)

During our tenancy:

1- once we backed from a long leave, we have received an email that the lawn overgrown and we can introduce a gardener! Without our consent for inspection or any inspection notice or anything else.so, we clearly rejected that and complained that we would like a formal inspection report with proper notice, not randomly come to hour place even if just passing by.

Upon we put vacancy notice:

1- they several times sent us emails that we need the house be cleaned with tidy garden/ etc and we want to do an open house on Sat (*our last dat was Friday *) - Or.when is your actual move date/etc BUT all of these requests have been cleared several times previously.

2- for any single request we had to follow up couple of times and describe to them how to follow a proper and professional communications (e.g. Sharing a proper quote for a repair not sharing cost by email).

These all about unprofessional communications and disorganised management towards tenants.

Richard Pickton has been brilliant to deal with! Right from day, he has been professional, super responsive and has always been quick to action. Richard came highly recommended to us however I still did my own background checks and have no hesitations in recommending him. I do not recommend you deal with Braydon Govan of Laing and Simmons Hunters Hill. He is a liar and manipulator and should not be in this business. I have dealt with RealEstates for many years and the community does not need sneaky people like this.

Very disappointed and feel very taken advantage of. This real estate is useless i think they can perform better as clowns in a circus, they are completely the wrong people in the Real Estate Business they are non trustworthy and I don't think they have certification as Agents, otherwise there is no explaining the unprofessional service.

Recently I rented a Unit from these guys, they knew that I was a long time renter after I presented a clear 10 year ledger from another real estate and explained to them I am looking for a Long Term Lease, they asked me to sign a 6 month lease probation period for the owner to test me as a renter. After i said OK as I trusted them, after 3 months I received a Termination Notification as the owner only wanted tenants for a 6 month period.
So this Real Estate was aware of this from the beginning and they made us move all our stuff in to a 3rd floor unit with only stairs.
Throughout Covid-19 they kept pushing us, a family with 2 kids to leave the property urgently. Constant telephone calls and emails even though we had a 90 day period until we where we required to leave the property.
I write this review so you can be aware of what you will be getting yourself into if you deal with this so called real estate.
Within these difficult times it was a constant battle even though we paid on time and kept the property to an above average standard. When i asked him why he lied to us as he knew we where a family with a long term residence in the area, his answer was we should have not signed a 6 month contract. After all this, they even tried to send us to the tribunal to get us out urgently without a discussion with us and of course the DFT REJECTED their proposal.
I give them
5 ***** on poor service very disappointing real Easter

Very unprofessional, Braydon Govan is in the wrong industry intentionally providing misleading information and causing unnecessary stress. I would avoid dealing with Braydon Govan at Laing and Simons.
