Laing+Simmons Double Bay

Don and the team at Laing & Simmons recently helped us lease our 2 bedroom apartment in North Bondi. From the moment we met Don and the team, they filled us with confidence that they were able to achieve the best result for us. We discussed the market in detail, and how he would approach our openings.

Don’s Communication throughout was outstanding, and in secured a tenant within the first week of inspections (and beat our price expectation). We couldn’t recommend Don and the team at Laing & Simmons any more highly.

I have been renting with LSDB for the last 3 years - in all my years renting I’ve never had a property manager as helpful and genuinely caring as Alex Drakulic - she always kept me up to date with anything required from me as a tenant and conversely, whenever I needed assistance she was always prompt in her reply to ensure any issues were sorted out effortlessly. I couldn’t recommend dealing with LSDB highly enough!

Service is not professional working with them to lease my apartment. I am particularly disappointed with their incompetence and lack of efficiency to execute leasing signing and as a result it has cost me unecessary loss of income. There has been no explanation for unauthorised change of lease date and when trying to reach out, there were either no answer or made up excuses. Extremely dissapointed with this agency's service, ignorance, bad attitude, and failure to deliver.

Every Sydney-sider knows how traumatic it can be finding a nice apartment much less the perfect one, however if you have Jacob Benton on the hunt, the whole process becomes much easier. My husband and I had looked at quite a few units and then we met Jacob. We gave him a rather long wish-list and within just a few days, voila, he not only covered our wish-list but chucked in a harbour view for good measure - and within our price range! So thank you Jacob. Not only efficient but a pleasure to work with.

Full marks & stars to Ms. Alexandra Drakulic for performing a fantastic job and providing excellent service, exceeding our high expectations, in her on-going & all-round property management including securing a new quality long-term tenant in the shortest possible time, with an incredible feat of 2 or 3 days vacancy period! A very highly commendable achievements in all aspects of her work.

Just after 2 weeks moving in, Alexandra has demonstrated to be an exceptional manager, responding kindly and promptly to any enquires we've had about the property.

Do Not use Laing Simmonds Double Bay. I dealt with Penny and our apartment had smashed glass in there when we moved in. The garage door was broken and they couldn’t give as a rent reduction while we couldn’t use the garage. They are withholding our $3000 bond and trying to say the apartment was damaged when it was in the same condition we moved in. They do not answer our calls and are very unprofessional. We will be taking legal action.

Alex Drakulic has been our property manager since listing the property. She is a friendly, helpful professional who provides quick and efficient solutions to the issues that arise. She is pleasant to deal with and we value her input and services.

Alex Drakulic is a really down to earth, genuine person and puts her absolute best into every property. She is prompt and efficient and I can completely recommend her great service.

I have been incredibly disappointed with the experience I've had with Laing + Simmons Double Bay. As a tenant I struggled to get in contact with anyone on the phone or email. I signed a 12 month lease for an apartment that failed to meet basic living standards - having to delay my move in/cancel movers on the day. I was also not told that the lease was a casual lease until I had paid the deposit. The issues still remain unresolved more than a month into living in the property. After telling the Head of Property Management that I had to isolate in my apartment due to covid without a working oven, intercom and a broken toilet seat, I was just told to "stay safe and well" with a smiley face emoji. It's been an actual nightmare and I would never recommend using this agency.
