They send these wasteful koala plushies in every shipment. We don’t want them and throw them away, putting the burden on us to feel guilty for yet more landfill waste

I've been totally GHOSTED! I ordered and paid for a sofa bed, delivery was supposed to be 28.11.23 then got a text
from saying, earliest is now 5.12.23. My guests had to sleep on the couch. There's been no further communication from Koala and I've left voicemails, texts, and I'm just ghosted. Where the hell is my sofa bed? ! My sister had to take a day off work today to wait for the delivery. Why does Koala think that anyone else's life isn't important? I've had to resort to messaging here on reviews

Recently purchased a King size & a King Single timber bed frames from Koala. Delivery service was terrible. Items arrived and they expect me to move all the above bulky items all by myself into my home. It was not stated during check out or mentioned in their delivery resource website. Paid $75 for delivery and expected a better service. They could have informed customers that they do not deliver the items into their homes or provide the above service with an additional fee. So if you are a senior citizen or living by yourself and were to purchase any bulky items from Koala, good luck with that.

Rubbish service, delivered the wrong stuff, delivery driver wouldn't bring it in the house, but will come in the house requesting to use my toilet. Will only fix the wrong delivery a week later when most convenient to them, leaving us stuck for a sofa bed when we really needed it. Should have bought local from a store.

The courier damaged my property and it’s my fault!

I barricaded off my front deck as it was freshly stained that morning. The courier moved the barricade went on the deck to ring the doorbell, then left stained footprints across all my pavers. The barricade was more than obvious, and half-decent customer service would have called or knocked on the side window, like all others had done that day. When asked, the courier was, rude, argumentative and completely unapologetic.

I have spoken with support and Koala won’t take responsibility as they outsource their courier service. I am now at cost to patch up my deck and clean my white pavers of stains.

Meanwhile, the courier also delivered the wrong boxes, so my sofa bed is incomplete.

UPDATE: Since posting this review in Nov 2022, Koala now daily send me emails and texts asking for feedback and promising to call me sometime from 8am to 5pm to discuss. They never call, even though I have repeatedly responded to their comms.

UPDATE: Dec 22: Now they have seen the above, Koala have now stopped all feedback communications with me. Though on the very first phone call to them the operator suggested that recompense would be appropriate, they have now chosen to ignore all of my complaints and feedback. Koala haven't even asked how much the fix would be.and the footprint damage is still on my pavers.

I am now a lifetime detractor of Koala.

Hi Koala, I am very upset that I ordered a pillow on 26 November and the item has not been sent to the courier until 13 December. I called your team last week asking where is my parcel and your team Josh told me that it was delivering on the Thursday night (8 December). However, I asked courier please about the tracking number Josh gave to me, they said the tracking number was not existing. I just felt I was lied. How can Koala lie to a customer? Also, I still don’t where is my parcel. It’s been more than 2 weeks. Ok fine. I am so disappointed. Am I the only one Koala forgot? Don’t send it anymore. I will do the refund with your team. Totally fine

From my personal experience, bed is super comfy, but if you are on the heavier side, bed will only last 2-3years. The middle part where you sleep is caved in permanently after 2+ years so be aware when you purchase the mattress.

So, the mattress came, with a note saying there were two boxes. But only one box arrived. I emailed customer service nearly a week ago and no response. The bed is great, but there is no one home at customer service. So, if you have any issues, don't expect a response.

Ordered and paid for a lounge on the 20th of June no communication called many times and one month later still no lounge requested a refund, really disappointed

Their warehouse is messy, staff is bad at service. This company makes profits from oppressing their workers. They rely on social media to make up great stories about their products while the quality of the mattresses are really unacceptable.

Got the mattress just for the koala plushy. The plushy is very good quality and got a koala shirt on 10 out of 10 will buy again. Oh the mattress is ok

Sorry, but the mattress started off great, but we have had this for over a year now and its created a cupping in the mattress. It is so bad that we have to change it. My wife and I wake up with a sore back every day. Love to hear if this happened to anyone else.

I am absolutely blown away by the customer service at Koala - this is the kind of brand that will truly stand the test of time in this day and age and I look forward to purchasing more products in the future. Love your products and you really take care of your customers!

Bought a coastal sofa. Some of the assembly holes have been drilled incorrectly and do not line up, so the sofa can't be built. Have contacted support via email, no response in 2 days, phoned 3 times with no answer.

Sofa is quite literally the worst thing i have ever purchased, sometimes i feel just sitting up against the wall, on the floor would do better for my back. Bought this to try and be ergo. I feel is the root cause of developing back pains. Horrible. Really would advise people against getting one of these.

Ordered a mattress and booked the delivery date which was changed due to circumstances. Re-booking was done online and confirmed via email. No mattress on delivery day and excuse was the online booking wasn't done correctly. Now I am being told another 3-5 business days for delivery.
Cant wait to sleep on the floor for a week.
Delivery service is poor. Unknown about the quality of the product.

Bedsheet and quilt cover set review. For the first couple of nights, my partner and I were in awe with how luxurious the new bedding was. This however changed after just the FIRST wash, despite following Koalas recommended cleaning advice. Not only had the appearance & colour of the material dramatically faded, the material instantly became less comfortable and silky. In addition to this, if you wear deodorant to bed, it will stain the sheets and will be impossible to get out. And I mean impossible. Less then six months later my new Koala sheets look and feel significantly worse then some of my bedding I’ve had for years. I feel bad for writing this - particularly because we appreciate Koalas ideas around sustainability, I just thought that people might appreciate knowing this before investing as we have not had a great experience.

Had a very frustrating experience with customer service delays. HOWEVER.the online team took my info and got the service team to contact me.
Full disclosure, I was not happy about the delay and I let them know!
Cannot fault they're attention to trying to solve the problem.
We've been very happy with the sofa for 3 years and intend on many more years of use.

One of the worst mattresses, tried a lot but i never got sleep on this. Not sure these mattress are good for sleeping.

Incredible - could not believe the delivery service (particularly at a time when every organisation is making excuses for delays) - I ordered dining chairs from my bed in the morning at about 7 am and they were delivered the same day at about 11 am? Very well packaged (my son said we could have played tetris with the boxes:) Each chair was protected in a beautiful drawstring material bag and the legs were attached without tools in a matter of minutes. Super comfortable chairs and look great in my kitchen. Couldn't be more happy with everything. Thank you!
