I have never given anyone negative comments in my entire life. My philosophy is being kind and tolerant by treating people with warm heart. However the experience with Kho & Lee is outraged and I have to speak up by telling the facts.

As a tenant, I moved into the property with my friend 3 years ago and during the leasing period (my flatmates changed three times), I was always being a perfect tenant even though all my flatmates complained about them and had argument number of occasions while I was endeavoring to ease issues and accommodate people's needs. The unpleasant occasions are such as, the agent came into my place by using the agent's key without notice and my flatmate was shocked when he opened the door, the agent didn't inspect the property in person when my old flatmates moved out. My other flatmate said to me that he has never seen any agent who is so dodgy.

The biggest issue is when I vacated the place and the agent received the full bond from Fair Trading, they informed me they made a claim however never provided any estimated amount or tax invoice until 2 months later. I understand they wanted to make a claim on my bond which I disputed with as when I took the place it was unclean. But the thing is they literally held my bond for more than 2 months after I chased up a few times, and this action breached the legislation and their ethics, which caused me file application at tribunal. They also rejected to reimburse the application fee which is reasonable claim against them because if I shouldn't have filed at tribunal if they complied to the legislation in terms of refund of bond.

I truly believe kindness and honesty in people.however it's just disappointing: (You have to be a difficult person in order not be taken advantaged of by them.

Went above and beyond
Tahsin and team really went above and beyond expectations! As our long-term tenants had to vacate our property asap, the team at Kho and Lee acted with speed to get adverts and inspections up and running to ensure that we could secure a new lease. In less than a week, we secured a lease, with the outgoing tenants happy to leave the property to save on rent and the new tenants happy to move in asap, and we were very happy to have no gap in the rental income! The team worked hard to ensure hand-over was done in one day and any fixes to the property attended to promptly. This is no easy feat in usual times let along during COVID-19. We are rest assured knowing that our property is well look by Kho and Lee in the last 6-7 years and they communicate with us regularly to keep us up to date. It certainly makes the process of owning and maintaining a property much easier and less stressful! Thank you Kho and Lee!

We wish to make a high commendation of Tahsin. He has been our Property Manager over the past year and has faced a few challenges with us. We had some teething problems during our move-in regarding the security cards. We could feel that Tahsin was a very good diplomat balancing our frustrations as the renter and the interests of the owner. He negotiated an outcome that made us happy! Later, when we battled with technical issues in the apartment Tahsin took his own personal time to come to our apartment (with a ladder in hand!) to help us. Recently Tahsin has brokered an agreement with the apartment owner when we needed to change our move-out date. On many engagements Tahsin has always responded on the same day that we have asked for assistance/advice. Also, recently, Tahsin has responded to my emails late on a Friday night. I think he could sense that I was stressed, so I am very appreciative that he took his own time out-of-hours to respond to me, reducing my blood pressure!
We wish to give a high commendation of Tahsin as the best Property Manager we have ever had the pleasure to deal with.

Kho & Lee has been managing my property in Pyrmont since September 2015. I’d like to share my experience here.

• Rent Review happens on a regular basis.
• Inspection has been done very thoroughly.
• Prompt respond with repairs. I always get more than one quotations from the agent to ensure low prices possible.
• Good communication with owners, tenants and the strata manager.

Linh Toal is the current manager. There was a leaking problem in the shower last year and she managed to get it fixed by the Strata. As we all know, it have never been easy to deal with Strata and it took a while back and forth with discussions. Linh had won this job for me. A big THANK YOU, Linh!

I had had some very negative experience with Kho and Lee in the past regarding paperwork and getting things done. Before, nobody would reply to our emails and it would take serious pestering to get things fixed around the apartment. After Tahsin Cidem became our property manager, things took a turn for the better. Tahsin is an honest, hard working and an organised property manager. He has always replied to our emails promptly and tried his best to solve any problems we had. I moved out from my property a month ago with minimal issues. Kho and Lee is lucky to have him working there.

Linh Toal is an amazing property manager. I have leased a property from her for almost 4 years and she has always treated me with respect and consideration. Whenever there was an issue, I could always count on her to resolve it taking both the owners and my best interests at heart. Since I was living there by myself with a full time job, she also considered my time and availability as much as her own when something needed to be done. She would always do the right thing and she makes sure everyone else in the office follows her standards.
If I ever need another property in Sydney, to lease or buy, she will definitely be the first person I call.

Linh provided excellent service. She was very thorough and returned my calls and emails promptly. Linh went out of her way to accommodate my timeline. My apartment was rented quickly. I am very pleased with the service

Whenever I have had an issue, or questions to be asked - I've found Theo and Chong to be very helpful and on the ball. Nothing is too much trouble for them, you can rest assured that they will do their best for the clients.
